A new Global Challenge has been released by Niantic!

While waiting for the MYRIAD Anomaly, from July 11th at 10 am PT to July 22nd at 10 am PT
You are required to complete at least 13,000,000 Unique Portal Hacks!

If the objective is met, the hack cooldown window timeout will be decreased from 5 minutes to 4 minutes from July 29th at 5pm UTC to August 7th at 5pm and the Portal attack-back strength when hacking or attacking an opposing faction Portal will also be decreased. Moreover, Players will be able to deploy two L8 and L7 and four L6 and L5 resonator from August 1st at 5pm UTC to August 5th at 5pm UTC.

If unsuccessful, the hack cooldown will increase to 6 minutes and Portal attack-back strength when hacking or attacking an opposing faction Portal will also be increased.

P.S. Niantic took some inspiration from our channel back in last global challenge and decided to provide a useful graph to keep track of our progress!

Edit: Also, an individual scanner achievement medal can also be earned if players successfully perform 100, 350, or 750 total unique hacks during the event.

July 14th - Fort Wayne Open Streets

Come out and enjoy over 100 free activities and games. There will be 1.6 miles of streets to explore, closed to cars and open for people to bike, walk and play! Ingress, Pokémon and HP:WU players are invited to get moving and explore the community while playing alone the open streets. There will be posters & stickers for attendees as well as boosted gameplay!
