Agent @H4DES reports that some European First Saturday (E.G. Schoten, Belgium; Rotterdam, The Netherlands; Zagreb, Croatia) have problems with the registration-portal and/or with restocking hacks. Specifically for the former, agents are unable to hack the due to a communication error.
No media item is dropped and it is unknown if the hack is valid.

While waiting for an acknowledgment from Niantic, please report to the IFS POCs if you experience this issue.

The recommendation is to go out and make AP! Niantic will check if the hack was made and add the Agents to the list manually.

"Unfortunately there are issues with hacking the marked portals for some events for a number of attendees today. Please get the form filled in for each attendee that had received the error so they can be credited with the FS badge and Bonus AP. All standard requirements still must be met and Niantic will be verifying that the listed agent names attempted to hack the registration portal during the measurement window.

There was an issue where the agent hack was recorded but the agent names weren't added to the FS list (Which means we'll know if agents that didn't attend are added to the list so don't do it). NIA engineers are investigating it with a high priority and we don't have an ETA on a fix yet."

Our web platform expands!

When you send us your IFS pictures, it will pop on the map and will remain there for 6 months creating a wonderful archive of the past First Saturdays Events!

We think this will become a great tool to keep the memories of these events alive, but also see the distributions of these relatively new events.

Niantic announced that their official community platform, as a substitute of Google+, is coming later this week!

As specified in earlier announcements by the company, the platform will serve as a place for Agents to discuss various aspects of Ingress such as OPR and Appeals.

Niantic also warns the Agents that the platform will be in an early version of development, so they'll gather feedback to make it better as time goes!

Snooping around on the new community platform, we found a couple comments from Niantic's Senior Product Manager, Scot Frank!

Apparently an UI rework is coming for Ingress Prime! As we hear from Agents around the world, the hype is really high to see it, especially as more and more are deciding to switch to the new version as their preferred client!
