After Donald Trump administration had, just last week, put Huawei on a list of companies that American companies cannot have trade ties with (unless certain conditions are met), Google has decided to stop providing Android Updates to Huawei devices. The company from Palo Alto reassured the users by stating that Google Play updates and the protection services from Google Play Protect will still be provided, but the company is now forced to use the public version of Android (AOSP) and the future of these devices is now completely uncertain.
Rumors have it that Huawei was already developing a proprietary OS in the Event of being banned by using Android, so the impact should not be as harsh as expected.

Niantic has decided to postpone the XM Anomaly in Colombo, Sri Lanka after the tragic incident of last April. A new date will be announced once the country will have recovered.
