The Eurovision Song Contest 2019 is being held in Tel Aviv, Israel.

After Donald Trump administration had, just last week, put Huawei on a list of companies that American companies cannot have trade ties with (unless certain conditions are met), Google has decided to stop providing Android Updates to Huawei devices. The company from Palo Alto reassured the users by stating that Google Play updates and the protection services from Google Play Protect will still be provided, but the company is now forced to use the public version of Android (AOSP) and the future of these devices is now completely uncertain.
Rumors have it that Huawei was already developing a proprietary OS in the Event of being banned by using Android, so the impact should not be as harsh as expected.
We do not foresee any further issue concerning Ingress Users but please, if you want to discuss the news or share your theory on how things will change, don't hesitate to contact us!

Niantic has decided to postpone the XM Anomaly in Colombo, Sri Lanka after the tragic incident of last April. A new date will be announced once the country will have recovered.
The Anomaly in Colombo won't be replaced by another event.

If you allow the browser to access your position, it'll be highlighted on the map to spot which Events are the nearest, and if you get blinded while first accessing it, fear not: we have a dark theme as well! 🕶
All events are in the map, but if you want the one in your city to become "Featured" (especially First Saturdays, since we are not able to post all of them on the channel) please drop us a presentation message! We'll be happy to pin it to the map 😊

In an amazing feat of strength, Resistance and Enlightened plank off for the final Stealth challenge. Team Hikyaku of Resistance were the last agents standing, winning them the last victory and anomaly cores of the night. Congratulations all agents for a successful finish!!
