Agents, come to discover the home of the leaning tower, Pisa, Italy on Saturday, June 1st, 2019.
The city of Pisa rises above the banks of Arno, just before the mouth of the river at Marina of Pisa. It is one of the most important cities in Tuscany and it is extremely well-known in the world, because of its famous symbol: "the Leaning Tower".
Pisa is both an ancient and modern city. On the one hand, it is proud of its past , when it was a Marittime Republic and became a world power during the Middle Ages. On the other hand, now is famous for having three of the most important universities in Italy: The Scuola Normale Superiore, the Sant' Anna school of Advanced Studies and the University of Pisa
During this IFS we will be monitoring the Access Level, APs, thePurifier medal and the Trekker medal!

A canadian Agent has organised an awesome event to celebrate his second recursion!
NinthAnt is recursing and plans to level from 1-8 purely using Toast beacons which come with 500 AP per beacon.
Why would anyone do that?
To celebrate reaching 100M AP, to do something unusual and fun, to thank Niantic for this wonderful game, and for the sheer ridiculousness of it. Kind of like climbing Everest -- because it's there -- but with less freezing to death on a mountain and more toast.
How many beacons will it take?
That'll be 2400 pieces of portal toast.
That's an waste of money, surely you could have spent it on something better?
Yes indeed! As part of this event for each agent who pings @NinthAnt in comms he will donate $10 to the Downtown Eastside Women's Shelter. That's right, you can literally write "well it looks like @NinthAnt has gone insane" in a video game chat and it will help people in need.
How long with this take?
No idea. Probably a while.
What about the bug where beacons sometimes stay permanently lit?
