Scot Frank, lead engineer on Ingress, commented on Reddit about the recent regressions on Prime v2.18. He says that these issues will be fixed on v2.19.2 which will require some additional time to develop. In short: "2.19.1 is stopped and 2.19.2 will be coming next, hopefully starting this week or Monday. We especially don't want to break anything that would negatively impact Anomaly gameplay."

They titled it "Playful Cats" and its the symbol of nature waking up after the winter.

Today, five years ago, a research bus called November Lima 1331 embarked on a journey. Since the streets of Austin, Texas, the car has taken the Ingress research to more corners of the world. As with everything related to XM, the NL1331 at the time was just an experiment that was unsuccessful. In the past five years, the participation of a number of agents has been full of enthusiasm.
Since its inception, the NL-1331 (and its variants) have traveled to more than 40 countries, travel hundreds of thousands of miles, and have met with thousands of agents. We hope to explore the next year and meet more agents.

"Due to some extenuating and new issues, we may need to change this plan (to release Prime v2.19.2 this week, ed). We'll let you know once we have more to share. In short, with many moving pieces and new features we want to be doubly sure that no regressions and game-breaking issues arise for the Anomaly this weekend."
