​In December 2018, Google announced their decision to shut down Google+ for consumers in April 2019 due to low usage and they have recently made public the list of changes to be expected.

Here are the ones that will involve the average user:

• February 4th
You won't be able to create a new G+ Account any longer.

• April 2nd
Lockup and deletion initiated for every G+ account and page. This includes photos and videos from Album Archives. You can download and save your content before April. Note that photos and videos backed up in Google Photos will not be deleted.

If you are a Community owner or moderator
Download and save your data for your Google+ Community starting early March 2019. Including author, body, and photos for every community post in a public community.

If you sign in to sites and apps using the G+ Sign-in button
These buttons are about to be deactivated and replaced with a "Sign-in with Google" button.

Niantic has launched another #GlyphChallenge!

They are asking Agents to help them with key XM research by creating the “HUMAN” Glyph during the weekend of February 8-10.
Share your images and stories of creating the glyph, and the top 50 exceptional works of art will receive a passcode for items that can be shared among you and 19 of your fellow Agents.

#GlobalChallenge

Agents,
We know many of you have questions on the upcoming unique hack challenge. The number being measured will be the number of different portals hacked per faction: each portal will count towards the faction's total if it is hacked by anyone from that faction, at least once during the event.
It does not affect the outcome if an Agent already hacked the portal before the event (whether or not it is a new unique portal for them individually).
Any action other than hacking (e.g. capture, deploying, etc.) will not affect the outcome of the challenge.
We’ll be posting periodic updates of the standings on our social media channels.
