After the discovery of a major bug that caused yet another data leak from Google+ and after a similar one in October, the platform most used by Niantic to broadcast their news will shut down for consumers in April instead of August. This new data leak involved approximately 52.5 million users, who could have had profile information like their name, email address, occupation, and age exposed to developers, even if their account was set to private.
We are still wondering which social network will become Niantic's predilect after April, even if Reddit has proven to be one of the most involving and collaborative.

Based on your feedback, Niantic will hide the newly introduced Badges if their score equals 0. The Mission Day and NL1331 Badges will remain visible as locked, and the company is exploring new ways to show these information in the future.

UX: Linking is now possible while Link creation is in process and Android “back” button will skip the Scanner display of Link creation.
UI: Changed Store layout to show three CMU bundles per row to save screen space.
