The life of Ingress' developers is getting harder every day!
Agents with Huawei devices are now reporting that launching the Scanner with Game Suite, an app that allows for enhanced performance while in-game, causes a ban from the game in a couple days without any appeal possibility.
Moreover, Agents who play on an iPhone X, are still reporting difficulties in glyphing caused by the placement of the Glyph Grid, too close to the screen border.

Niantic has announced to have postponed the Mission Day and OCF event in Suyeong, Busan scheduled for October 6.
After having checked the situation in the city they will handle fixing the further event and will communicate the new date as soon possible.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the National Trails and National Wild & Scenic Rivers systems, Niantic and the National Park Foundation are running a special campaign about exploring as many rivers and trails as possible.
Players and community members are invited to visit one of the many of rivers and trails starting today through December 31, 2018. Participating players can receive a special patch and handwritten note from Niantic in the following two ways:
A) Send Niantic a postcard or a letter of your adventures! Address: P.O. Box 194770 San Francisco, CA 94119 (Attn: Social Impact)
OR
B) Publish an Instagram post on your social feed with a picture of the trail or river you posted.
- Donโt forget to tag the location you visited!
- Use hashtags #ExploreWithNiantic and #FindYourWay
- Tag the @NianticLabs Instagram account
Players who send a postcard (digital or physical) will receive a postcard and special merit patch in return from Niantic. For every postcard received, Niantic will donate $5 to the National Park Foundation (limited to one per person, with a maximum of $100,000 in total donation). With the intent of bringing the best experience possible, Niantic will be shifting the launch of Ingress Prime to November 2018. Additionally, the next round of Beta invites -- which include those who participated in Cassandra Prime -- will be delayed until Mid-October.
