We are happy to report that the current version of Ingress will soon be compatible with iOS 12. Since its release earlier today, we have been working to resolve incompatibilities. We are optimistic that we will be able to release an update to Ingress for download via the App Store in the coming days.

Reddit user jamonathin reports that a new feature appeared on the OPR system, that asks the reason for marking a portal candidate as low quality. There are 5 main option, each of them has other sub-choices.
The portals that are not in none of the presented options, have to be evaluated with 2 or more stars

As @AgtMuns shows us, the new version of Ingress for iOS 12 has some problems with the iPhone X, as some parts of the game are not completely visible @IUENG
Niantic is aware of the issues affecting iPhone X users and is currently working to resolve them!

Agents with Huawei devices are now reporting that launching the Scanner with Game Suite, an app that allows for enhanced performance while in-game, causes a ban from the game in a couple days without any appeal possibility.
Moreover, Agents who play on an iPhone X, are still reporting difficulties in glyphing caused by the placement of the Glyph Grid, too close to the screen border.
