#DaylightSavingTime

Tonight, at 1:00 (UTC), in Europe, DST will end. We recommend that you set your clocks one hour back.
As for scoring, the CheckPoint that contains 1:00 UTC WILL STILL LAST 5 hours, but only 4 on your clock! 😉

"I just received this message anonymously. No real message, either, just the attached images. I think I recognize the Seattle skyline in the background of some of the shots. I don’t know where any of these locations are, but given that NL-1331 is expected to make an appearance there tonight, it seems like that is a good a point as any to start hunting…

Time to put on your fedoras and get to work… because we all know that all good work gets done while wearing a fedora.

If you find something, share it with the hashtag #NoirIntel — and if you’re dressed the part, show that off while you’re at it too. This is #ViaNoir after all.

"Attention Agents:

I've been able to gain access to this Priority #ViaNoir Intel.

In addition to the expected footprints, the intel reveals a few additional details about what Agents can expect from the upcoming Anomalies.

Use this information wisely.

All the hidden clues in the various pictures of Seattle (refer to this: http://investigate.ingress.com/2016/10/29/intel-alert-seattle/) have been found and promptly the agent @GaanEden created a post where she transcribed them all: https://plus.google.com/+JenniferBrozek/posts/Ex777a5Kipr. Inside the boxes were some pieces of paper, for a total of 3 pages. What does this mean?

@LordGreenMonkey thank you for sharing with us the link to the post.

#Halloween #IngressPumpkins

Niantic unfortunately this year decided to not give more XMP or US like the last year (https://plus.google.com/+Ingress/posts/23U3dkQbmBn), so players had fun without the scanner. Do you prefer a carved pumpkin with the enlightened symbol (https://plus.google.com/+Ingress/posts/hNg5Xyizgx5) or with the resistance symbol (https://plus.google.com/+Ingress/posts/Ecd7sHXh5mf)?

@IUITA wishes you Happy Halloween! 🎃 👻

"Call for Embedded Reporters: All November 12th Anomaly Cities

Volunteer Here: https://goo.gl/9EV6bb

Are you a natural shutterbug or just love photography? Maybe you just take a lot of selfies with your fellow Agents. Niantic is looking for a few volunteer Agents in all Anomaly cities to act as our Embedded Reporters. The task? Post LOTS of pictures during the Anomaly.

Selected Agents will be given a Very Rare Supporter Kit for using their phone as a camera instead of an Ingress scanner. You must be willing to install two or three preferred apps for photo watermarking and video sharing. You must be active on social media channels like Google+, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Preference will be given to Agents who are not shy about taking photos in public. If you have a team that is willing to let you follow them around – even better!

The deadline to receive submissions is 23:59 ET on 4 November 2016.

The mystery of Seattle clues has been solved! Thanks to the pieces recovered by agents on the ground (https://plus.google.com/+JenniferBrozek/posts/Ex777a5Kipr), along with pieces recovered by the official investigators of VI (https://niantic.schlarp.com/investigation:other : there # dead_drops), here's the solution to this crazy research: https://plus.google.com/+PieterSchutz/posts/RkRHw3ohMJD.

#IngressYearFour #Investigation

"Wrote, deleted and rewrote what I wanted this post to be about a dozen times today.

It’s four years since I put the first pin in that Investigator Board.

At some level, that means a lot. It means places we’ve been together, discoveries we’ve shared, mysteries we’ve solved. Lives we’ve changed.

At some level, it means a little. The journey continues, its velocity and essential energy unchanged, empowered by folks like you.

We are on a shared train into the deepest fractal in our universe. Each mystery unfolds to reveal truth and more mystery. Each mountain we climb reveals another distant peak. A challenge for the future.

In the end, what I really wanted to say today was two things:

Thank you. To each Investigator who has joined us, whether for a moment or for the long haul. This is your Investigation. I’m just the guy who runs the website.I’ll see you again tomorrow. We may be four years in, but the horizon’s still somewhere out there, and there’s work to be done.

Much love and respect.
