These are the highlights.

Q2: Ariel Diana (Arielsmurfeater) - Is there going to be any new glyph sequences released before the anomaly series on August 26th, that the Glyph Journal should be aware of before all chaos breaks out?
A2: Maaaaaaaaybe. We were actually commenting about maybe letting the Agents decide the next few phrases based on some sort of voting system. What do you think of that? Tag me in a post with your reply.

Q5: Happy Monday :D Do you have a status update for shipping to other country's for the official Ingress shop? I would love to get my hands at some swag.
A5: I was told some good news on this front today. I would probably get fired if I told you though. Because I like my job I'll stop typing before I incriminate myself.

Q7:Brent Hollett (Perringaiden) - How far are we from the end of the OPR queue, or at least close enough that we'll have submissions reopen?
A7: We are 75% through the queue. There is 25% remaining. We are very close to having submissions reopen.

Q12: Drew Dondero - When will Ingress have more challenges like the Via Lux Explorer? I feel like not having at least a monthly one was/is a wasted opportunity, especially since there was such a huge delay between anomaly series.
A12: I would like there to be one in October between Anomaly series. That is just my personal preference and what I am advocating for currently.

Q13: Valentin Brückel - When will the Guardian Badge finally be retired?
A13: There are ongoing discussions about what the best course of action would be. However, nothing is finalized at the moment.

Q30: Matt Jenkinson (Crowbar) - Has there been any discussion on a tiered XM Anomaly medal system to make it easy to identify badges that were attained from being onsite and if so, can you share any future plans around this?
A30: We've talked about this internally. How do you, the Agents, feel about this? Tag me in a post with your thoughts.

Q33: Geoff Weyl - Can we get measurement data from Via Noir?
A33: I really can't provide a definite because I don't know. But to set expectations, if it has been this long, I wouldn't wait any longer. But stranger things have happened.

OPR has been updated. Along with some bug fixes, the following new features have been implemented.

- Ability to skip a limited number of times to the next portal candidate.
- Support for fully zooming all images.
- Hometown to can now be changed one time.

Agents,
The total solar eclipse today seems to be having a global impact on Ingress Scanners. We are unsure what is causing it but have verified that the effect seems to have increased the amount of AP that can be earned. However, this reward does not seem stable. We have measured that Agents will be able to earn around double the normal AP for a limited time and that it will deminish to slightly more than one and a half the normal AP for roughly the next 24 hours or so.

We ask that all Agents help us measure the effects of the eclipse and report back their findings via social media and the hashtag #IngressEclipse so that we can determine the impact of these events.

Portal submission

- Submissions are agent limited (you can only have a certain amount at a time)
- The number of submission can change from an agent to another. Those that abuse submission will be blocked, while those providing good portals will get a number increase.
- As you submit, the portal will enter in the OPR system where you can receive only 10 reviews (to prevent abuse)
- To submit a portal you have to
> be L8 or more
> be in range of either the Brazil or South Korea area (this can be changed in every moment as it is server side)
- As it is now, the Seer medal will not increase
