There have been some questions about which cities for the upcoming #13MAGNUSReawakens Anomaly series will be primaries. The Seoul Anomaly on 23 SEP 2017 will be the only one labeled with an official Primary status. The status of cities for Q4 2017 has not been decided and will likely return to the previous format of having a Primary and one or more Secondary designations.

In addition, our Intel leads have been unable to confirm the whereabouts of many persons of interest. Because of this, we are unsure if any will be investigating the events occurring in any of the cities on 26 AUG or 23 SEP in person.

Thanks to the questions under the original post, we can say that:
- We don't know if there will be other anomaly mechanism than cluster and shard games;
- The scoring mechanism and the format of the anomalies will be published with the rules;
- The information about Q4 will be released after or near the end of Q3 events;
- They will search agent volunteers as did in the previous events;
- They are discussing about weighing the scoring of each site by attendance;
- Nothing has changed from the previous Anomalies regarding off-site support and recognition;
- The POCs of every city are in contact with the Niantic event coordinators to determinate details about MissionDays;
- If Goruck will decide to support the anomalies, they will do an announcement with the details;
- RVSP of Q3 will be announced when they are ready.

The participants have received further information from Niantic:

* No riding on attractions during the event
* Cosplay ok but no sexy outfit, military gear or bloody makeup
* Prepare a bag/knapsack that can hold 10 500ml PET bottles
* Prepare a mobile battery & charging cable for min. 8 hr ingress playing
* No hazardous material such as weapons, gun powder, chemical lights, surstromming etc.
* No alcohol
* No game company names other than Niantic, no games other than Ingress to be mentioned
* No slander against the sponsors

Also, they will be receiving knee pads and elbow pads to wear during the event.

The most important innovation announced at the event, was the decision by Apple to enter the world of Augmented Reality, with the creation of a dedicated "ARKit" for iOS developers.

This innovative development kit has been confirmed to bring some fresh news to Pokémon Go, the newest AR game by Niantic, but will it have the same influence on Ingress? We will now be removing items from the game that were purchased from these unauthorized sellers. This means that any items illegitimately obtained through third-party websites or services will disappear from inventories - even if these items were passed to other players unknowingly.

Illegitimate items that are in a legitimate capsule will be removed from the capsule. Legitimate items in illegitimate capsules will be emptied from the capsule and then the capsule will be deleted. We appreciate your cooperation and continued support of our efforts to keep Ingress fair and fun for all Agents.
