Answers from the Ingress Team at Camp Navarro

- In ingress 2.0 the graphic of the portals will change: they will be like a modern light spirals where on the top you will see the links and the mods, with blue or green electricity going around, and at the bottom an hack bottom divided in three little circles: one with a key on it (to have the key), one with a slashed key (to not receive the key) and one with a G on it (for glyphing);
- They are deciding if change (and if yes how) the sorting of the keys in Ingress 2.0;
- They confirmed that Circle-K and Lawson Power Cubes just look different but they work in the same way. The hack probability will be higher in respective Circle-K and Lawson portals;
- New glyphs and glyphs sequences exist but we don't know if they will be also in the game in the future;
- The team is working on the medal connected with the Portal Recon Operation, so we just have to wait to see it locked on our scanners;
- The team is working at something to stop cheating accounts, we will probably see the results with Ingress 2.0 based on a Unity platform;
- They are thinking whether to stop the game for the rooted phones: they don't want to do that because a lot of Agents use them but if they decide to do so it will become more difficult to cheat in the game;
- They are trying to find a way to make it possible for iOS users to redeem codes from the app, the Apple Store has restrictions on it so the coders are searching a way to workaround it legally;
- They are working on the creation of an Ingress RPG (role-playing game, similar to Dungeons and Dragons);
- Niantic Team confirms that using IITC is at your own risk;
- If you have problems with the game e.g. gps problems with a new version, report it, they will work to modify and correct it. The better player support Ingress, the easier it becomes to make a better game;
- It is not official but they are thinking about it: re-arrange the Mission Badges.

Big news from NIA in the chats with the leaders of the teams, which was also reconfirmed by Krug in Camp Navarro!

They said that any team that is able to find a permanent home for their archetype installation or a representation of their installation will become a permanent portal in the network!

Lots of agents will travel there to see and see it working, congratulation agents!

Agents,

Congratulations, you have completed Challenge 1 and 2 of the Lawson subnetwork XM Amplifier testing operation.
491 Lawson Portals (Unique 401 portals) were Hacked 630+ times which unfortunately didn’t reach the Challenge 3. Though to celebrate the impressive results by the Agents, Lawson Power Cube output is expected to increase to 4 times more than usual globally for 3 days.

Resistance had more Hacks throughout the week by generating 54.28%, while the Enlightened had 45.72%. All Lawson Portals will have the Resistance Beacon up for 3 days.

With the Agents’ excellent work, anomalous status of Lawson subnetwork is expected to end soon. Although, we expect the Agents to continue to monitor the Dragon Veins by visiting and continue sharing the test results with us.

#OnyxMissionCreator is an event in which you must demonstrate your ability to create banners in Ingress. Using your creativity, you should find an image in preferably high quality, trim it using image editing programs or web tools (f.e. https://goo.gl/i2hhGx ) and send it to Niantic for your next approval. Once accepted the mural, you must do it, show it on your profile and take a screenshot of it, posting the image in G + with the caption #OnyxMissionCreator. Following this last step, you will already be participating in the event. The best banners will be posted on the Telegram channel (https://t.me/OnyxMissionCreator).

Prizes range from VR item codes to event merchandise. Depending on the number of people participating, we will add a gift medal to the creator of the best banners!
