U.S. Agents, Circle K is holding a Circle K Ingress Playoff. 16 cities in 4 regions can participate. Rare and Very Rare Ingress passcodes are coming to Circle K stores! When you make a qualified purchase and scan the Circle K app at checkout, Agents will get a passcode for Ingress items. To make things interesting, we’re holding a cross-faction Hack-a-Thon to see which cities get early access to this special promotion. The winning region will have all of their Circle K Store Portals producing Rare and Very Rare codes two weeks earlier than the rest of the United States. The region in second place will get its stores to start producing codes a week early.

- Niantic Japan has a new office.
- The 91 shards traveled 640,000 km corresponding to 16 laps of the Earth:
~ Enlightened moved them for 370,000 km
~ Resistance moved them for 270,000 km
- “Ingress is going to change more and more, various formats” – Mr. Kawashima

> Operation Portal Recon

- Operation Portal Recon will be available in Japan for agents L15 and L16 on April 12th.
- 9,000 new portals were added as result of OPR, while 11,000 portals were dismissed (rejected)
- Portal Recon will affect Pokémon GO as well as Ingress and all of the product of Niantic

>Ingress 2.0

- Ingress is a very important product for Niantic.
- Version 2.0 is coming within the year (maybe earlier depending on testing)
