A badge for the Global Event #fateofthe13?

The Niantic Team didn't create one till today, probably due to difficulties to decide who should have it and who should create the enormous list. To avoid this, Keith Galenzoski​ had an idea: the possibility to buy the in-game badge and donate the collected money to a charity or a good cause (as happened with the Initio badge).

A lot of players already showed their interest in the new solution in the original post and in the post shared in the ingress g+ community. What do you think about it?
