From May 19 to May 21, 2017, an Ingress Event unlike any other will take place under the giant redwoods of Northern California.
What does it consist of? All the agents (independently from the level or faction) can propose a project to create a unique, creative and expressive Portal on-site using which type of technology you want, making possible to have a interaction to them, and also to make them reflect their current state through lights, sounds, colors or anything else can you think and create. (You will use your own materials).
It is a special occasion for Makers, Builders, Artists, Arduino and Raspberry Pi hackers, it's your time to shine!
You have time to propose your creation until the 24th of March. The Niantic Team will choose 12 entries (from Enl, Res or Crossfaction teams) basing it on the quality and ingenuity of the ideas. The form for the general participation of the event will follow soon (spaces will be limited).
The event will be take at the Camp Navarro (in California), that has no cell service but a WiFi connection. There is no in-app medal for this event.
