The Iranian officials were seen off by senior Pakistani officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Interior Minister Mohsen Naqvi.
Earlier this morning, the American delegation, led by Vice President JD Vance, also left the Pakistani capital.
Islamabad hosted this latest round of high-level talks between Iran and the United States on Saturday. While the discussions were described as intensive, the two sides did not reach an agreement due to excessive demands by the American side.
