कौन कहता जाने वाले, याद फिर आते नहीं;
तोड़ के दिल जाते जो, दिल छोड़ के जाते नहीं।
अपने वाले ही सताते,गैर तो बदनाम हैं;
औ दोस्त से जो मिलते गम, दुश्मन भी दे पाते नहीं।।

इसीलिए दुनिया में रहो तो विचार पूर्वक और भगवान में रहो विश्वास पूर्वक।🙏🙏

ART OF ANSWER WRITING:
In UPSC Mains, understanding and fulfilling the demand of the question is the key to success. Different words like comment, examine, illustrate, etc. demand different kinds and presentations of answers.

Meaning of key words:
1. Explain: Clarify the topic by giving a detailed account of what (facts), why (reasons), and how (process).
2. Describe: Provide a detailed explanation as to how and why something occurs in paragraphs.
3. Discuss: This is a debate, thereby giving different aspects about pros and cons, both in facts and judgement.
4. Examine: It's like giving numbers after checking the student's paper. Here, one should make judgements about pros and cons in terms of right/wrong and good/bad with the backing of facts, stats, graphs, etc.
5. Evaluate: Give a verdict about whether a statement or finding within a piece of research is true, but in quantitative (data) terms. In cases of a lack of knowledge about dates, use terms like large, small, few, many, etc.
6. Analyse: Break an issue into parts like political, economic, social, cultural, etc.
7. Critically: In this, not only does one need to see limitations, but one also has to write about ways to improve.
8. Comment: Give your opinion about pros and cons backed by data and logic, but here, writing implications and suggestions is very important.
9. Illustrate, Elucidate, or Exemplify: Similar to explaining, but with more emphasis on using examples (current), data, and statistics.
10. Enumerate: Write in points format, thereby providing a list or outline.
11. Trace: Give the historical sequence of the topic.
12. Elaborate: Give more detailed information, but in paragraph format.
13. Define: Give a precise definition of something. Bring attention to problems posed with definitions and different interpretations.
14. Compare: Give stress on similarity first and then on differences.
15. Contrast: The main stress is on differences.
16. Differentiate: Give differences first, but at the end, any similarity may be mentioned.

Any #UPSC aspirant must understand that these words form the basis for getting good marks in #UPSCMAINS.
One must try to understand, write and implement in letter and spirit. credit:- https://x.com/rajatsambyal_?s=20 Sir

“Parliament is a supreme, eternal and indivisible entity in a democracy” and the union government or its law officer cannot say they will not follow a law enacted by Parliament.
Some of our group members are very serious towards their exam and I am very happy to say that they are attempting comprehension in a very good way and they’re getting a good marks also ,so I am very hopeful that they will definitely crack UPSC 2024 preliminary exam with good marks.
