Shachar Ben-Nun, 21, was killed and six other IDF soldiers were wounded in a friendly fire incident in southern Gaza today.

An Air Force bomb targeting Hamas forces reportedly malfunctioned and landed too near the building where Ben-Nun and his fellow soldiers were positioned.

May his memory be a blessing.

Dear friends,

We have started distributing the drones bought with your kind donations to frontline IDF units.

The soldiers have all expressed enormous gratitude and genuine surprise and thanks that Christians around the world are joining the defense of Israel in such a practical way.

These drones literally save lives.

We will publish additional photos and clips provided by the soldiers who receive your drones as they come in.

And a huge THANK YOU from our team in Jerusalem! ๐Ÿงก

Israel must not give up the Philadelphi Corridor (Gaza-Sinai border), even for a hostage deal.

And isn't it about time someone hold Egypt responsible for its role in this mess?

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is under heavy criticism for reportedly telling the Israeli negotiating team that if it comes down to freeing the remaining hostages or retaining control of the Philadelphi Corridor (Gaza-Sinai border), he prefers Philadelphi.

Why would he take that position?

Critics say Netanyahu only cares about his own political survival. But choosing Philadelphi over the hostages achieves the opposite. It provides fuel to a mainstream media and political opposition already keen to paint Bibi as a cruel and heartless โ€œdictatorโ€ who defies the will of the people.

If his goal is to stay in office, why take this path, rather than go along with the Americans and reap the rewards of being the prime minister who โ€œbrought them homeโ€?

Maybe Netanyahu is more concerned with the long-term security and wellbeing of the State of Israel.

Surrendering the Philadelphi Corridor is as shortsighted today as it was in 2005.

Leaving it and other strategic positions in Gaza will set the stage for the next Oct. 7 massacre.

Yes, Israelโ€™s security chiefs argue that they can always return to the Philadelphi Corridor. But Israelโ€™s security chiefs have been saying such things for decades, only to belatedly realize that international pressure wouldnโ€™t permit them to take necessary actions against Palestinian terrorism.

Faulty assurances convinced most Israelis that leaving Gaza 20 years ago wouldnโ€™t result in it becoming a terrorist haven. And we know how that turned out.

Maybe Netanyahu deserves a little credit for taking the difficult diplomatic positions needed to prevent the next catastrophe.
