Because it would cause prices on the markets in the Gaza Strip to rise again. And why? Because the import of food via the official Rafah border crossing requires bribes to be paid to the Egyptians on the Egyptian side and to Hamas on the Palestinian side.

A Palestinian journalist in the Gaza Strip explains openly on camera why the coordination between Hamas and Egypt at the Rafah border crossing has driven up the prices of goods in the Gaza Strip and adds:

"Through the (Israeli) Kerem Shalom border crossing, which Hamas is fighting against, goods from Israel are entering the Gaza Strip and have brought prices to a level that we have not seen since the beginning of the war. The Rafah border crossing should remain closed."

Part of the American humanitarian pier in Gaza broke away due to wind and waves and washed ashore near the Israeli coastal town of Ashdod.

Biden says he's working on an immediate Gaza ceasefire that will bring the hostages home.

Hamas responds by reiterating that any deal must begin with a full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and an end to the war.

We are still at square one.

Destroying Hamas benefits the Palestinians as much as Israelis.

This is how thieves in the Gaza Strip are treated by Hamas terrorists. They are lined up against the wall and shot in the legs.

This was the scene on Friday at the building that houses the Messianic congregation of Pastor Israel Iluz in Kiryat Shemona.

At around 5pm yet another Hezbollah missile barrage hit the city, and one of the projectiles caused severe damage to the congregation.

That’s the time the congregation would have been meeting under normal circumstances. But the city is nearly abandoned, so thank God no one was there and no injuries sustained.

With most of the people evacuated to other parts of the country, those who remain have been hosting Christian volunteers from abroad to help cook daily meals for IDF soldiers stationed in the area.

It must be reiterated that while the Gaza war overshadows everything, northern Israel is suffering.

The border region is all but abandoned. Bombed-out ghost towns.

It’s a situation that simply cannot continue.

"Zionism" is again being thrown around as a dirty word, as always happens when Israel defends itself.

So, let's clear something up:

Zionism is the Jewish people's yearning for their divinely-appointed homeland, in accordance with God's promises.

Christian Zionism is a recognition of what God is doing in and through Israel, and a desire to support them in that role, in accordance with scripture.

Nor is Zionism a new phenomenon.

The term is modern, but expressions of Zionism go all the way back to the Babylonian exile:

"By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept when we remembered Zion...

"If I forget you, Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill. May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy."

ICJ Vice President Julia Sebutinde:

"War inevitably, and tragically, affects the lives of civilians. But this does not make Israel’s war against Hamas inherently illegitimate or unlawful and nor does it transform it into an act of genocide."

Sebutinde went on to stress that Friday's ruling by the ICJ did not order an immediate Gaza ceasefire, nor does the court have the authority to do so.

Rather, it ordered Israel to not take any military action that could destroy Palestinian life in Gaza. And Israel has been working hard to make sure that doesn't happen, even as it hunts down Hamas.

She lamented that the (purposefully?) misleading wording of the order made it seem and was interpreted as if the court had ordered Israel to lay down its arms.

This woman is taking a brave stand for truth in a world overcome by lies.

She deserves a lot of praise.

In thinking about the ICJ ruling and the antisemites flooding city streets in the West:

"Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy upon us, for we have had more than enough of contempt.

"Our soul has had more than enough of the scorn of those who are at ease, of the contempt of the proud."

Rocket attack on central Israel: Herzliya, Hod HaSharon, Petah Tikva and Kfar Saba.

No idea how Hamas is still able to launch rockets at the Greater Tel Aviv area.

The rockets were reportedly launched from the Rafah area in southern Gaza.

Hamas is trying to demonstrate that it can still threaten all of Israel, even after 7 months of devastating war with the IDF.

Wonder if this is permitted under the ICJ's most recent ruling? 🤔
