Israeli soldiers have opened a new pizza shop in the heart of the Hamas stronghold of Khan Yunis.
"Pizza Khan Yunis" even has its own sign, with a combat helicopter delivering the pizzas and the tagline: "Every bite is explosive!"

Arab and Western media outlets are abuzz over reports that Israeli soldiers are "stealing bodies" and "desecrating cemeteries" in southern Gaza.
Devoid of context, the allegation is meant to equate Israel with Hamas, by showing that Israeli soldiers are no less moral than the terrorists who invaded the Jewish state on Oct. 7.
But the reality is that the IDF launched a targeted operation to exhume specific graves based on intelligence gained during the interrogation of captured terrorists.
Israel is committed to bringing home all of the hostages, dead or alive, and the Palestinians have buried many of the Israelis they took captive in local Gaza graves.
That's not OK, and Israel needs to bring them home.

Qatar says it thinks the medicines that entered Gaza reached the Israeli hostages.
But it can't verify this due to the security situation and the lack of internet and cell service.
In other words, if the medicines didn't reach the Israeli captives, it is Israel's fault... π
---
βΌοΈ Two things:
1. Israeli doctors warn that while the medicines are crucial to some of the hostages, without the Red Cross or other professional medical staff to administer the treatment, it could be harmful.
2. If Qatar is able to communicate with the Hamas leadership in order to broker aid and hostage deals, it can verify the delivery of medication to hostages. It just chooses not to.

βIf we previously believed that there was a chance for peace, weβve lost all faith in these people [the Palestinians], especially after we were there and among the [civilian] population.β
This is what Agam Goldstein-Almog recently told Israeli media.
Agam was abducted with her mother and two younger siblings after Hamas murdered her father and elder sister on Oct. 7 in their home in Kfar Aza.
She was freed as part of the hostage deals in late November.
We are hearing similar things from nearly all of the freed hostages.
Many, if not most of the Israelis attacked on Oct. 7 were left-leaning peace activists who believed teh majority of Palestinian Arabs also just wanted peace and coexistence.
They no longer think that.

Netanyahu has been thrust into an impossible situation.
Risk straining relations with the US by insisting on total victory over Hamas...
Or back down, acquiesce to US demands regarding Gaza and accept strategic defeat.
Either way, he's set up to take the fall in the eyes of the Israeli public... Either he damages Israel's relations with her most important ally, or he fails to deliver the promised victory over Hamas.

On Oct. 7, Gaza-based photojournalist Ashraf Amra and his colleague, Mohammed Fayq Abu Mostafa, publicly called on Palestinian civilians to join the savage invasion of southern Israel.
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!" they stressed on social media.
Israeli legal experts are now accusing them of war crimes.
It should also be noted that both "journalists" worked not only for local Palestinian media, but also for major mainstream international outlets like Reuters, the AP and The New York Times.

Large numbers of IDF reservists who fought in Gaza or were deployed to the northern border are being released.
This is happening rather quietly, at least in terms of media coverage. Average Israelis, of course, are talking about it non-stop as their husbands and sons return home.
The reason for keeping it relatively quiet is so as to not feed the perception that Israel is acquiescing to American demands to end the war in Gaza.
