Just a day ago, the prime minister and IDF chief assured Israelis that Hezbollah was slowly, but surely being pushed back from Israel’s northern border.

Clearly, that is not the case.

She is the mother of the man who died earlier.

They were both killed when a Hezbollah missile hit their home in Kfar Yuval on Israel's northern border. The missile was purposely aimed at their house.

Some Israelis, including opposition lawmakers, demonstrated this evening in Tel Aviv this evening demanding a hostage exchange deal with Hamas, now.

They worry that the 136 Israelis still held captive in Gaza don't have long to live.

But Hamas reiterated this evening that there will be no deal that doesn't begin with the IDF ending its military operation and withdrawing from Gaza.

In other words, there can be no deal.

The funeral of the two Israelis killed by a Hezbollah missile today is not being announced publicly, and must be held in as much secrecy as possible to avoid having Hezbollah attack the mourners.

An absurd situation that has raised the anger of the residents of the northern border region, who feel the political and military response to their plight is severely lacking.

An Israeli soccer player who plays in Turkey has been arrested after he publicly commemorated 100 days of captivity for Israeli hostages during last night’s game.

After scoring an equalizer, Sagiv Jehezkel found a TV camera, made a heart sign and showed his wrist tape, on which was written “100 days - Oct. 7” along with a Star of David.

Turkish authorities are charging Jehezkel with incitement and supporting the “massacre” in Gaza.
