A major game changer for Israeli troops in this war has been the liberal use of drones.

Every unit is using even small commercial drones to give them eyes in the sky and identify threats before they move into a new area or building.

This has saved the lives of countless Israeli soldiers.

In the above clip released by the IDF, soldiers identify two armed Hamas men ahead of them, and call in an Air Force strike to eliminate the threat.

It has been 100 days since October 7, 2023, when Palestinian terrorists and civilians invaded southern Israel and perpetrated the worst crime against the Jewish people since the Nazi Holocaust.

For 100 days, Israel has been engaged in what many see as its second war of independence.

Our older children were asked to wear black to school today to mark this occasion. The nation of Israel is in mourning, but is also determined to fight until the end.

The New York Times reports that the CIA has been and continues to help Israel locate senior Hamas leaders and Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip.

Given that Hamas, a suicidal Islamist movement, is not going to surrender, the quickest way to end this war is to capture or eliminate the Hamas leadership and rescue the remaining hostages.

While the northern border has been quieter in the past few days, it is by no means quiet.

Over the past two days, at least 30 anti-tank missiles have been fired at IDF bases and Israeli towns in the Upper Galilee region.

Just a day ago, the prime minister and IDF chief assured Israelis that Hezbollah was slowly, but surely being pushed back from Israel’s northern border.

Clearly, that is not the case.

‼️ One of the Israelis wounded in the northern border attack has reportedly died.

The elderly woman injured in the northern border attack has also died.

She is the mother of the man who died earlier.

They were both killed when a Hezbollah missile hit their home in Kfar Yuval on Israel's northern border. The missile was purposely aimed at their house.

Mira Ayalon and her son Barak are the two victims from the northern border region.

May their memories be a blessing.

Some Israelis, including opposition lawmakers, demonstrated this evening in Tel Aviv this evening demanding a hostage exchange deal with Hamas, now.

They worry that the 136 Israelis still held captive in Gaza don't have long to live.

But Hamas reiterated this evening that there will be no deal that doesn't begin with the IDF ending its military operation and withdrawing from Gaza.

In other words, there can be no deal.

The funeral of the two Israelis killed by a Hezbollah missile today is not being announced publicly, and must be held in as much secrecy as possible to avoid having Hezbollah attack the mourners.

An absurd situation that has raised the anger of the residents of the northern border region, who feel the political and military response to their plight is severely lacking.

An Israeli soccer player who plays in Turkey has been arrested after he publicly commemorated 100 days of captivity for Israeli hostages during last night’s game.

After scoring an equalizer, Sagiv Jehezkel found a TV camera, made a heart sign and showed his wrist tape, on which was written β€œ100 days - Oct. 7” along with a Star of David.

Turkish authorities are charging Jehezkel with incitement and supporting the β€œmassacre” in Gaza.

Israeli footballer Sagiv Jehezkel being led by Turkish security agents to his court hearing after he publicly expressed support for Israel and the hostages still held in Gaza.

Israeli leaders are furious, noting that just a year ago, Israel provided disproportionate aid to Turkey after the country suffered a devastating earthquake.

And now it's a crime in Turkey to express support for Israel and Israeli victims.

UPDATE: Sagiv Jehezkel has been released by a Turkish court and it appears he will be deported. (Amit Segal)

πŸ‘† Again, he is being deported for the "crime" of expressing support for Israel during this war.

Have any Palestinian or other Muslim immigrants been deported from Western nations for supporting Gaza and Hamas?
