Sahar Baruch, 25, has been confirmed dead by the IDF this evening.

Sahar was killed during an IDF attempt to rescue him from Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip on December 8.

It is unclear at this time whether he was murdered by Hamas or killed by IDF fire during the battle.

Two IDF soldiers were seriously wounded in the attempted rescue.

Sahar was abducted by Hamas from Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7.

His body is still being held by Hamas.

May his memory be a blessing.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi blames Israel for the explosions in Iran that killed over 200 people today: "Israel will pay a heavy price for the crime in Kerman. We will make Israel regret it."

Two rockets were fired from Gaza this morning at the coastal city of Ashkelon.

Both were intercepted by Iron Dome.

Terrorist rocket attacks from Gaza have now become a relative rarity with the IDF in control of northern Gaza, and exerting tremendous pressure on the Hamas strongholds in southern Gaza.

Iran has revised the death toll from yesterday's bombing to 95, according to official state media.

Meanwhile, the conservative Iranian newspaper Jam-e Jam ran the above front page headline today in Farsi and Hebrew. It reads: "Vengeance is coming, guaranteed"

The Iranian regime has blamed Israel for the deadly twin explosions in Kerman.

Following the elimination of senior Hamas figures in Beirut, and subsequent threats of revenge from Hezbollah and Iran, Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib says:

"The government of Lebanon is not interested in war. We fear being dragged into a regional war."

And yet, the government of Lebanon does nothing, or is unable to do anything about ongoing Hezbollah attacks on northern Israel that have forced 80,000 Israelis to become refugees in their own country.

Lebanon doesn't want war, but is allowing its territory to be used to provoke war.

ISIS has taken responsibility for the deadly explosion yesterday in Iran.

An ISIS spokesman today also expounded on the need for Muslims all over the word to attack Jews, everywhere. He insisted there is no difference between an Israeli Jew and a Jew abroad. Muslims must make war on all of them.

πŸ€” Why did ISIS bomb Iran? (see aboveπŸ‘†)

ISIS is a Sunni Muslim movement.

Iran is the heart of Shia Islam.

Both desire Islamic world domination, but from different theological positions.

As we have stressed before, all politics and conflict in the Middle East is theological and religious at its core. This is something Western power brokers have a difficult time grasping, and which they typically try to ignore - which is why Western diplomatic efforts in the Middle East never work!

The Sunnis and Shiites hate each other as much as they hate Israel.

The only thing that can sometimes bring them together is shared hatred for Israel, as in the case of Sunni Hamas working with Shiite Hezbollah.

Kibbutz Nir Oz has sadly confirmed the death of one of its residents, Tamir Adar.

Tamir was part of the kibbutz armed response team that fought Hamas on October 7.

He was either killed and his body taken, or abducted and killed in captivity. Either way, Hamas still holds his remains.

Tamir's wife and two children survived the terrorist invasion.

His mother, Yaffa Adar (85) was also abducted and later released in one of the hostage deals.

It was Yaffa, a Holocaust survivor, who became the face of Israeli defiance amid the hostage crisis after she would not allow Hamas to break her.

‼️ The 'Red Flag of Revenge' is raised

This morning, the 'Red Flag of Revenge' was raised over the Jamkaran Mosque in the Iranian city of Qom. The reason for this is the attack on the grave of the notorious Revolutionary Guard commander Qassam Soleimani in Kerman.

The last time this flag was raised was following Soleimani's assassination in January 2020. It was lowered after the Iranians attacked the American base in Ain al-Asad in Iraq as revenge.

The public raising of this flag signals an act of revenge that must be "seen and heard." This event creates anticipation, and the regime wouldn't raise the flag unless it intended to carry out some sort of attack in the very near future.

The question remains, does Iran intend to take vengeance on Israel, or on ISIS, which has claimed credit for the Kerman bombing?

Shabbat Shalom from the Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah delivered another speech from his hole in the ground today.

He lauded his terrorist militia for carrying out hundreds of attacks on dozens of Israeli army bases and towns over the past 3 months.

The results have been that hundreds of thousands of Israelis are displaced, and over 100,000 IDF soldiers are busy defending the north.

He also claims that many more Israelis have died in recent Hezbollah attacks than Jerusalem admits.
πŸ™147
That last point is false. Israel doesn't hide its casualties.

But the other points Nasrallah makes are true.

Hezbollah is effectively holding northern Israel hostage at the moment.

Which is why Israel warns America that time is quickly running out for a diplomatic solution, and Israel will soon have to go to war in Lebanon.
πŸ™191
The tone indicated that Hezbollah does not plan any major escalation against Israel in response to this week's assassination of senior Hamas officials in Beirut.

Nasrallah was effectively saying that Hezbollah has done and is doing enough to aid the Palestinian terror group.
πŸ™142
He also hinted at a future diplomatic resolution when he hailed the possibility of negotiations to "free" border areas that Lebanon claims Israel is occupying.

Of course, Israel will agree to no such surrender.

And Hezbollah will not voluntarily agree to Israel's demand that it withdraw to north of the Litani River, in compliance with UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
πŸ™148
In short, the situation remains complex and dangerous. A powder keg just waiting for the match to be lit.

It has gotten to this point because Western "experts" thought they knew how best to manage the conflict over the past 40 years.

For now, Shabbat Shalom from Jerusalem!

Hezbollah today has fired more than 40 missiles and mortars at border communities across northern Israel.

Widespread damage has been reported, but no injuries. Most of the towns and villages have been evacuated for months.

Hezbollah says this assault is the "initial response" to the assassination of Hamas leader Saleh al-Arouri in Beirut last week.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has reiterated his belief that Israel will soon "cease to exist."

He cited the "Al Aqsa Storm" that began with Hamas's invasion of southern Israel on October 7 as an ongoing process at the end of which there will be no more Jewish state.

IDF special forces operating in the Khan Yunis area eliminated terrorists in close-quarters combat while neutralizing terrorist infrastructure situated within a school and other structures.

In a civilian house, the troops located many weapons, grenades, magazines and vests that were used by Hamas. Some of the tools were found in a bedroom next to dolls and children's games, including games that preach incitement against Israel.
