Lebanese media reports that overnight the IDF bombed the town of Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon, destroying a building and killing 3 people.
This was the first strike on Bint Jbeil, a location with some significance to Lebanese in relation to past conflicts with Israel.
Lebanese media is calling this a clear escalation by Israel and an attempt to provoke a larger conflict.
For Israelis, the opposite is true.
Ongoing Hezbollah cross-border attacks, including yesterday's missile strike on a Galilee church, are the real escalation and provocation.
