Anti-Israel protest in the Netherlands: 8,000 pairs of shoes representing 8,000 Palestinian children who Palestinian sources claim were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.

Couple of points:

1. This number is simply being accepted at face value with no evidence because it neatly fits the mainstream anti-Israel narrative.

2. Those responsible for any dead children in Gaza are Hamas, who not only prevented Gaza civilians from fleeing combat zones when Israel urged them to, but carried out its terrorist activities from inside and near civilian institutions and homes.

In recent weeks, more and more Palestinians are admitting this in interrogation and on social media. But don't expect the evidence to sway those who have decided Israel is guilty.

Delusional, or disconnected?

Al Jazeera reports that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, writing from a tunnel somewhere under southern Gaza, informed the terror group's "political leadership" abroad that his forces have killed 1,600 Israeli soldiers.

If he's talking about casualties during the IDF ground war in Gaza, Sinwar is either delusional, or disconnected and being fed lies by his own men.

As of this morning, 155 IDF soldiers have fallen in combat in the Gaza Strip.

Of course, Sinwar could be referring to the total number of Israelis killed by Hamas since the morning of October 7.

While every Palestinian is seen as a civilian, every Israeli is seen as a soldier.

The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Syria, Razi Mousavi, was eliminated in Damascus.

Israel is of course blamed for this (and that might indeed be accurate), and the IRGC is vowing revenge.

"This war is far from over," Netanyahu says while visiting the troops in Gaza. "We won't stop until all victory conditions are met."

In the parking area at the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza, Israeli troops found a car stolen from an Israeli town in southern Gaza with blood stains belonging to abducted Israelis, as well as a pickup truck that took part in the Hamas invasion of October 7.

Yet more evidence that Gaza hospitals are used as bases for terrorist actiivity.

2024 - A fateful year?

With elections in the US, Russia, the European Union and India, fateful decisions will be made over the coming 12 months that will determine global politics for many years to come.

And with major wars raging in Gaza and Ukraine, leaders in those nations are heaviliy influenced by the resulting security and economic implications of conflict.

We are indeed living in fateful times.

Member of Knesset Danny Danon (Likud) says that certain nations in South America and Africa have agreed to take in refugees from Gaza in return for financial aid.

Demonstrators in northern Israel this morning demand the government immediately launch a war against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Lebanon stands on the brink of a destructive war.

If all the "peace activists" protesting the Gaza war were really anti-war, they'd protest now for Hezbollah to stop attacking Israel BEFORE full-scale war breaks out.

But they aren't actually anti-war.

They're anti-Israel.

International law does not grant immunity to terrorists who violate that same law by misusing civilian infrastructure.

Even a hospital becomes a legitimate target if it is being used for military or terrorist purposes.

One of the soldiers who fell in Gaza died of a dangerous rash that broke out all over his body. (Channel 12)

Many of our young soldiers are on the battlefield for days or weeks at a time without a change of clothes or socks. To say nothing of the inability to shower.

Very often they lack protective gear against the wet and cold wintery weather.

We are still working day and night to help provide IDF units with the gear they are lacking to keep our soldiers safe and healthy as they fight this war.

We must not forget the enormity of the barbarism visited upon Israel on October 7.

Hamas death squads incinerated their Israeli victims, some while they were still alive.

The New York Times is literally making up new "facts."

Of course, the headline here is entirely false. Gaza deaths most certainly have not surpassed any Arab war losses in the past 40 years.

Just to give the most obvious example - over 300,000 have died in Syria's ongoing civil war over the past 10 years.
