Terror organizations in Gaza use children for terrorist purposes

According to the IDF, troops operating in central Gaza observed a terrorist using a child to carry weapons into a residential building.

The IDF said the child was used as a human shield in an attempt to prevent Israeli forces from striking and intercepting the weapons transfer.

The military described the incident as another example of terrorist organizations exploiting children for terrorist purposes and as a violation of international law.

The IDF said it would continue to act against immediate threats in the area of the Yellow Line.

Europe wanted to show the world how to overcome war. Today, Europe is learning again how to prepare for war.

For decades, the continent was seen as proof that old enmities could be overcome, open borders instead of trenches, trade instead of tanks, diplomacy instead of missiles. We Israelis in particular were often presented with this European experience as a lesson. Why can’t you in the Middle East learn what we Europeans figured out long ago? Why always deterrence, armies, and weapons? With dialogue, economic interdependence, and enough goodwill, any conflict can ultimately be resolved. I have heard these words countless times. From politicians, friends, Christians, peace activists.

Just recently, a German couple in Brazil explained to me with remarkable certainty that essentially everything can be resolved without war. But history has little interest in certainties. Today, Sweden is distributing instructions for wartime. Germany is recommending emergency supplies. The Netherlands wants its citizens to be able to manage 72 hours without government assistance. Britain is dusting off old crisis plans. Finland keeps its shelters at the ready. Norway has declared 2026 the year of total defense. Europe itself — the very continent that preached to others for decades about...Here.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flew to the United Arab Emirates yesterday to meet with the nation's leader, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, regarding the ongoing Iranian threat.

Iran has threatened to forcibly shut down air traffic to the Gulf states in response to the US blockade of the Islamic Republic.

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee celebrates Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, in Jerusalem, stating:

“Just as the Lord sheltered His people in the wilderness, may He continue to protect and bless all who seek peace and justice today. Happy Sukkot and Chag Sameach.”

Israel has given Dutch diplomats serving in the de facto Palestinian capital of Ramallah seven days to return their Israel-issued diplomatic credentials after the Netherlands began enforcing a ban on goods from Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria, eastern Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.

Said Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar:

“If the Netherlands wishes to continue representing its interests with the Palestinians, it may do so from Palestinian Authority territory, rather than from the territory of the State of Israel.

“Any country that acts in a hostile and unilateral manner against Israel will lose influence and relevance in the region.”

Maastricht University in the Netherlands has suspended a Palestinian student who posted a video claiming involvement in the Hamas-led Oct. 7 attack on Israel, according to university news outlet Observant Online.

In a viral social media clip, the student watches Al Jazeera airing Hamas propaganda. He then points at the screen, gives a thumbs-up and shouts, “7 October. This is me.”

❗️A spokesperson for Maastricht University stressed that the move should not be construed as punishment, and said there would be no criminal investigation. This contrasts sharply with efforts in the Netherlands and other European nations to criminally prosecute Israelis who served in the war against Hamas.

The student in question is one of more than 40 Palestinians from Gaza who were invited by the Dutch government to come to the Netherlands this summer to study or work.

Palestinian terror only strengthens Jewish resolve

Jewish “settler” leader Yisrael Ganz said Palestinian violence against Jewish residents in Judea and Samaria only strengthens Israel’s commitment to secure the Biblical Heartland and build it into a flourishing home for all–Jews, Christians, and Muslims.

Said Ganz:

“As governor, I have to develop this region. It is the biblical heartland, the land of the Bible, and I have to develop it for everyone. We have ancient Jewish sites, as well as churches—treasures for the world. I work as hard as I can to develop the region for all.

“I want everyone to feel that this is their home, so we work together with Christians and Muslims who want to live in peace and harmony to preserve and develop this historic land.”

WATCH: Israeli forces hold fire as a child carries a rocket launcher down a Gaza street.

The clip reveals two things:

1. Israel does its best to avoid civilian casualties, especially among children. This is not an isolated incident. Israeli forces routinely call off strikes if it is clear children could be harmed.

2. Hamas and other Palestinian groups cynically exploit the civilian population. If the child makes it, the weapon was successfully moved. If he is killed, it is a PR win and Israel can be accused of “murdering” a child.

❗Israel's Foreign Ministry has issued a travel warning to Israelis planning to visit the Netherlands that they may face “lengthy and invasive” baggage checks at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport.

This comes after the Dutch government banned goods from Jewish communities and businesses in Judea and Samaria, eastern Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.

Violating the ban is a criminal offense, with penalties including fines and even prison time.

Israel is monitoring how the Netherlands intends to enforce the ban in practice.

Masked protesters outside the D66 party congress in Amsterdam held a PFLP flag alongside a banner declaring: “WE SUPPORT HAMAS.”

Two terrorist organizations supported in broad daylight in the heart of Europe.

Shortly after, Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten had to be rushed off stage when pro-Palestinian protesters loudly interrupted his address to the D66 congress.

Jetten later told local media that the pro-Palestinian activists had behaved in a “respectful way.”

Israel’s Foreign Ministry criticized UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher for bowing while greeting Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

“Nothing captures the UN’s moral bankruptcy quite like a bow,” the ministry wrote on X.

The ministry was responding to UN Watch executive director Hillel Neuer, who condemned Fletcher’s greeting and pointed to the Iranian government’s deadly crackdown on protesters in January.

❗Israel’s Foreign Ministry on Monday summoned Spain’s chargé d’affaires, Francisca Pedrós, to protest comments by Spanish Minister of Youth and Children Sira Abed Rego, the ministry said.

The ministry said Rego had declared that the Spanish public supports a Palestinian state “from the river to the sea,” a slogan the ministry said implies the “erasure of the State of Israel.”

The Foreign Ministry accused the Spanish government led by Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez of pursuing a “systematic anti-Israel policy.”

Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, a key member of US President Donald Trump's Board of Peace, says it is possible to begin disarming Gaza by the end of the year, though the task ahead is "simply enormous."

Blair acknowledged that one of the biggest hurdles is that there are still hundreds of kilometers of tunnels "beneath the cities and towns of the Strip," and this "constitutes a military infrastructure built for the purpose of attacking Israel."

“I looked Satan in the eyes”

Israeli Police Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir recently confronted Hamas arch-terrorist Hassan Salameh in prison.

Salameh is serving 46 life sentences for a series of bombings that killed 46 people in 1996.

Ben-Gvir wants to put him to death.

Ben-Gvir told Salameh:

“When I was a teenager, I went to protest the attacks you carried out on bus line 18. You killed 48 people. You killed children, and women, and men, as well as soldiers. 

“As a child I demonstrated in favor of dealing with people like you. And now the circle is closed. Today I impose these conditions on you. But this is not all. I want to execute you. Someone who kills 48 people should be executed.

“And then you will suffer hell. You think it will be [72] virgins? It will be hell! I will give you hell here, and in the afterlife God will [give you hell].”

Israeli police have arrested an ultra-Orthodox Jewish man suspected of pepper-spraying a nine-year-old Christian boy near Jerusalem’s Old City on Yom Kippur.

The boy, a local Armenian Christian, was riding his bike through the Mamila shopping district when the attack occurred.

Israel’s Special Envoy to the Christian World George Deek thanked police for their swift action in the case, and noted that “Israel takes violence against Christians seriously.”
