The phony report follows another Ha’aretz article claiming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was informed by the United Arab Emirates days before Oct. 7 of an impending Hamas attack, but chose to ignore the warning. Netanyahu is now suing Ha’aretz for libel.
It is no accident that these articles are being published just a month or so before Israel’s national election.

To put evidence to that assertion, the Israel Defense Forces marked International Day to Protect Education from Attack by publishing photos from four schools in southern Lebanon where Hezbollah weapons were found. Some of the schools had hundreds of weapons in them.
Under the Geneva Conventions, once a protected place like a hospital or school is used for military purposes, it is no longer protected.

Security forces sealed a tunnel dug near the Palestinian village of al-Jib, north of Jerusalem, the Israel Police said on Thursday.
