Yesterday, a Jewish farmer was nearly stabbed to death by a Palestinian Arab in Samaria. The incident received almost no media coverage outside of Israel.

Fatah spokesman in the Gaza Strip Mundhir Al-Hayek admitted that the Palestinian Authority never ceased rewarding terrorists who carried out attacks on Israelis.

Speaking to Hebron-based radio station Alam on Aug. 23, Al-Hayek said: “What the US is asking for regarding stopping the payment of salaries to [terrorist] prisoners… we, as Palestinians, do not accept... We did not stop the payment of salaries.”

British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband on Tuesday announced an official import ban on goods made in Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria.

Miliband said he was making this announcement as a “proud British Jew” who supports both Israel and the “State of Palestine.”

Shortly after, the foreign ministers of 12 countries including the UK issued a joint statement on their intention to impose or consider similar restrictions on trade in goods from Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.

The other countries are Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.

More than three-quarters of Israeli Jews fear an Oct. 7-style terrorist assault from Judea and Samaria, according to a new survey commissioned by the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs.

For this and other reasons, a firm 75% of Jewish respondents (and 67% of Israelis overall) oppose the establishment of a Palestinian state.

REPORT: The British consulate in eastern Jerusalem has 30 days to close, and diplomats assigned there will lose their accreditation.
