Britain vows to stop Israel from building in E1 corridor

British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband warned that Israel’s ⁠building project in E1, a strategically critical area between Maale Adumim and Jerusalem, “risks making a Palestinian state unviable.”

Miliband said his government would “not acquiesce in the destruction of the two-state solution,” and vowed to “set ‌out ⁠a comprehensive set of measures in the coming weeks.”

Over the past few weeks, IDF troops dismantled an underground terror tunnel approximately one kilometer long. Since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, Israeli forces have disabled more than 26 kilometers of underground terror tunnels east of the Yellow Line.

Israel Defense Forces soldiers have achieved operational control of the Ali al-Taher Ridge area in the eastern part of the security zone in Southern Lebanon, both above and below ground, and cleared the area of terrorists, the military announced on Thursday.
