Southern Syria: The Druze in Sweida organized a convoy of appreciation for Israel yesterday, waving numerous Israeli flags. They wanted to thank Israel for its support against the jihadists of Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, who perpetrated massacres against them in July of last year.

The Druze also thank Israel for placing the security of the Druze population in Sweida as a central issue on the agenda for a security agreement between Israel and Syria.

After 12 days of activity at the earthquake impact sites across the country, the “Alliance of Brothers” delegation completed its mission in Colombia and has returned to Israel.

The commander of Israel’s Home Front Command at a ceremony marking the end of the mission in Colombia: "Today we can say - there are no missing persons left in the city of Cali.”

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has condemned Israel for taking over a UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) facility in northern Jerusalem.

Guterres called the move “unlawfully” and demanded Israel vacate the site and restore it to the United Nations “without delay.”

US Ambassador Mike Waltz says the Gaza "famine" narrative is a blood libel, and now everyone knows it.

Nickolay Mladenov, the Board of Peace’s high representative for Gaza, pressed both Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization on their obligations under US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace deal while speaking in an appearance before the UN Security Council on Wednesday.

Mladenov said the process was currently being held up by both sides:

Israel – for carrying out strikes unrelated to imminent threats.

Hamas – for continuing to walk around armed, work its tunnel systems, and steal aid.

Many believe that Israel is on a conquest to reclaim biblical lands, but let’s clear the air.

The truth is, even the most radical voices here aren’t advocating for direct control over neighboring countries.

It’s madness—more problems than solutions!

Instead, the focus is on protecting those who see Israel as a safe haven.

Are we really looking for conquest, or just a peaceful coexistence?

Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir on Thursday ordered the alert level raised in Judea and Samaria ahead of the Jewish holidays, citing tensions in the area and directing the military to prepare additional forces for rapid reinforcement.

Former Hamas hostage Evyatar David said he was in “extreme starvation” when the terror group forced him to dig his own grave on camera. 

He described this situation in his first international interview aired by CNN on Wednesday.

When they brought him into what he called “the terrorist room,” David said he could hear his captors “laughing and eating cakes and drinking tea.”

Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Friday expressed his condolences following the death of Norway’s King Harald V at the age of 89.

“I am deeply saddened to learn of the death of King Harald V of Norway,” Herzog said. “King Harald V, who loved his people and was loved by them in return, served his nation as King with loyalty and devotion for more than 35 years.”

He added, “On behalf of the people of Israel, I extend condolences to the people of Norway, the Royal Family, and the Government of Norway. May his memory be a blessing.”
