Some see Israel’s rebirth as a miracle worthy of praise.

Others view it as only a small step toward redemption, or refuse to celebrate it at all.

And despite common assumptions, many Hassidic movements cooperate with Israel’s institutions and take part in public life.

You can’t understand the New Testament by ignoring the ‘Old’

Too often, the New Testament has been treated as a replacement for the Old, and Jesus’ conflicts with Jewish leaders have been misunderstood as a rejection of the Jewish people as a whole.

But Jesus, his disciples and the first believers lived inside the world of Torah, the Prophets and the Writings.

Ignore that foundation, and the New Testament becomes detached from its own roots.
