Israeli security forces arrested seven Palestinians from Judea on suspicion of involvement in a violent incident in which a Jewish civilian was assaulted with a club.

According to police, the incident occurred overnight on Saturday at Moreno Farm, near the Gush Etzion city of Beitar Illit. The suspects were said to have entered private property, leading to a confrontation between Arabs and Jews.

Police said one of the Israelis sustained light injuries when he was struck with a club during the altercation.

Israel’s government on Sunday voted to extend an order allowing the call-up of military reservists.

The decision extends Israel Defense Forces reserve mobilization through Sept. 30.

Under the new order, the maximum number of reservists who may be called up will be reduced from 280,000 to 240,000, reflecting what the government described as the IDF’s updated operational needs.

Israel's Central Election Committee has ruled that any campaign material used during the upcoming election season must be appropriately labeled if it is produced by AI.

The IDF is insisting on destroying Hezbollah infrastructure prior to withdrawing from additional areas of southern Lebanon.

Lebanese officials accuse the IDF of delaying its withdrawal and the deployment of Lebanese armed forces.

“It was precisely as these allegations emerged that he canceled his planned visit to Israel, abandoned his previous commitment to thoroughly examine Israel’s independent judicial system, and suddenly moved to pursue arrest warrants against me and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.

“He did so to divert attention from the allegations against him and to rally Israel’s enemies around him as a political shield. That shield has now been torn away.”

The Israel Defense Forces has eliminated the head of Hamas’s drone cell in Gaza’s central camps sector, the military announced.

Hamam Eid, who was killed in an airstrike on Saturday, “was responsible for the production of UAVs for the Hamas terrorist organization in the central camps, intended to harm Israeli civilians and IDF troops.”

Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa hinted that a security agreement with Israel is in the works, and that, were it to succeed, it could lead to normalization with the Jewish state.

Al-Sharaa told Al Jazeera:

“If the security agreement succeeds, and Israel commits to the security side, and Syria does as well, along with all the conditions of the agreement that may be concluded later, this would qualify for a second stage of talks about a comprehensive peace, without conceding Syria’s right to the occupied [sic] Golan [Heights].”
