ISRAELI AND GREEK NAVIES BOOST RELATIONS

Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff, Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Kataras, completed an official visit to Israel, during which he met with the Commander of the Israeli Navy, Vice Admiral Eyal Harel.

As part of the visit, Adm. Kataras visited the Israeli Navy base in Haifa, where he was welcomed with an Honor Guard. He toured missile vessels, submarines, the Shayetet 13 Naval Commando unit in Atlit, and was introduced to the operational capabilities of the Israeli Navy.

History is never just politics.

That is the message from Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, one of Israel’s leading religious-Zionist voices, who says the upheaval among the nations is not random chaos β€” but part of a larger redemptive process unfolding before our eyes.

Wars, broken promises, shifting alliances, and pressure on Israel are not new. But from a biblical perspective, they may point to something deeper: Israel being pushed to stand in faith, strength, and covenant identity.

β€œRedemption draws near,” the rabbi says.

For those with eyes to see, the story of Israel is still being written by the God of Israel.

Algeria lost to Lionel Messi.

Naturally, a prominent Algerian commentator blamed β€œthe Jews.”

Not tactics.
Not talent.
Not the fact that Messi, even at 38, can still embarrass defenders for a living.

No β€” apparently the β€œJewish lobby” controls world football now too.

This is not just football hysteria. It is the oldest conspiracy theory in the region being dragged onto the pitch again: every humiliation, every failure, every exposed weakness somehow becomes a Jewish plot.

When defeat is unbearable, antisemitism becomes the excuse.

Syrian leader Ahmed al-Sharaa has ruled out sending troops to Lebanon, after US President Donald Trump suggested Damascus fight the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization.

Trump told reporters at the weekend that he was disappointed with Israel's inability to remove Hezbollah, even though it is pressure from Washington that is tying Israel's hands in Lebanon.

Lebanese Christians say Trump is making a mistake.

Samy Gemayel, a top Lebanese Christian parliamentarian, is urging America not to let Iran make Lebanon part of its deal with Trump.

Iran, he stressed, does not care about Lebanon. It only wants to protect its terrorist proxy, Hezbollah, which is ruining Lebanon.

Said Gemayel:

β€œThe land will not be free, the displaced will not return to their homes, and we will not live in peace, as long as the weapons of the militias are on our land.

β€œWe will not coexist with Hezbollah, whatever the results of the talks taking place outside Lebanon.

β€œThe Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the United States and Iran has nothing to do with Lebanon. What Iran is trying to do through the agreement is to protect its people in Lebanon, not Lebanon.”

Norway says it wants to ban trade with Israeli β€œsettlements.”

Curiously, not with the world’s worst regimes.

Just Jews in Judea and Samaria.

And the real threat may be larger than wine or dates: Israeli banks could be next.

Yet another example of selective European morality that ultimately does more to harm those they claim to support, the Palestinians who rely on Israeli jobs.

Petro lost Colombia’s election.

Naturally, he blamed Israel.

The outgoing president now claims Israel somehow hacked Colombia’s vote β€” offering no public proof, only the usual leap from political defeat to anti-Israel conspiracy.

This is what happens when Israel becomes the all-purpose villain.

Lose an argument? Blame Israel.
Lose an election? Blame Israel.
Lose credibility? Already gone.
