British Jews have had enough

About 20,000 people attended a demonstration against antisemitism in London on Sunday, following a surge in attacks on Jews.

Jeers and booing were heard at the rally in Whitehall, opposite the Downing Street residence of the British prime minister, when Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Pat McFadden spoke.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged on Sunday, at a conference of Druze and Circassian local authority heads held at the Dead Sea, to protect the lives of members of the Druze community in Syria.

Said Netanyahu:

“I am committed to bringing all the strength and all the power of the State of Israel to this sacred mission, because you bring the strength and the power to our alliance.

“Jews and Druze are brothers. This is not a cliché, not empty rhetoric; it comes from the depths of my heart, and it also guides our fighters and our pilots, and it will continue to guide us.

“The Druze and the Circassians are our brothers—brothers do not abandon one another!”

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE

Trump says Iran's response to this truce proposal was absolute garbage, and yet they made him wait days for it.

Current speculation in Jerusalem is that Trump could soon order a resumption of combat operations against the Iranian regime.

The diplomatic approach under the current conditions has clearly run its course and will not produce the outcome Trump was looking for.

What gaps remain between the US and Iranian positions?

➡️️ Trump insists Iran hand over its highly-enriched uranium, either to the US or a third party (excluding Russia).

⬅️️ Iran’s best offer is to dilute its highly-enriched uranium. It refuses to hand it over to anyone.

➡️️ Trump insists the Strait of Hormuz be reopened as an international waterway under no nation’s direct control.

⬅️️ Tehran insists it will hold sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz and exact a passage fee.

➡️️ Iran insists the US pay war reparations to the Islamic Republic.

⬅️️ Trump refuses to pay the Iranian regime one cent.

In addition to the primary American positions in the talks with Iran, Israel also insists Iran cease funding and arming groups like Hezbollah, and either significantly reduce or halt completely its ballistic missile program, which has but one purpose: to threaten the Jewish state.

Pakistan reportedly let Iran park some of its military aircraft inside Pakistan's borders to shield them from US airstrikes.

Even as Pakistan pretended to be an impartial mediator.

Some US officials are not pleased.

Why is the US military taking over Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport?

That is the question now being asked as American military aircraft occupy valuable space at Israel’s main civilian airport — squeezing Israeli airlines just as summer travel demand rises.

The result:
❌️ Fewer available flights
Awkward workarounds
Foreign carriers can't return
Higher fares for Israelis

Cooperation with America matters.

But Ben Gurion is still Israel’s civilian gateway to the world.

Which is why Israeli aviation officials are urging that the American aircraft be moved to dedicated military airbases in Israel, of which there are plenty.

❗️Israel’s Knesset last night gave final approval to a law requiring either life imprisonment or the death penalty for Hamas “Nukhba” terrorists who took part in the Oct. 7, 2023 massacres in southern Israel.

The new law prevents these terrorists from ever being released as part of a future “exchange” and mandates that they be tried in a special military court to be established in Jerusalem.

The EU just sanctioned Israeli citizens and Jewish organizations in Judea and Samaria — in the same package as Hamas officials.

Placing Jewish community builders beside the architects and defenders of October 7 creates a grotesque false symmetry.

Israel is fighting the same Iranian-backed terror network that threatens the West.

And Europe’s response?

Punish Jews in their historic homeland and call it diplomacy.

In truth, it's moral bankruptcy.

Europe says it is targeting “extremism.”

But in practice, Brussels has placed Jewish Israelis in Judea and Samaria in the same moral frame as Hamas terrorists.

That is the problem.

No one denies that violence by Jewish extremists exists. It does, and Israel must deal with it firmly.

But equating isolated Jewish violence with organized Palestinian terror is not justice. It is distortion.

The deeper issue is Europe’s view of Jewish life in the biblical heartland itself.

For Brussels, the Jew in Judea and Samaria is not a returnee.

He is an obstacle.

And that is where the moral short circuit begins.

Microsoft Israel CEO Alon Haimovitz is stepping down following an internal review of the local office’s work with Israel’s defense establishment.

Microsoft’s global management has transferred responsibility for the Israel branch to the France office for the duration of the probe.

Chief among the company’s concerns is that the Israel branch let Israeli security agencies use Microsoft cloud services to store surveillance-related data on Palestinians.

Israel’s Iron Dome has no equal

Dr. Yuval Steinitz, chairman of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, praised Israel’s Iron Dome system in a speech to a strategy conference.

“There is no parallel technology in the world,” said Steinitz.

He noted that over the course of the current war, “40,000 rockets and missiles were launched at Israel from Lebanon and Gaza alone. Iron Dome intercepted the overwhelming majority of them with a success rate close to 99%.”

Turns out Saudi Arabia was attacking Iran alongside the US and Israel.

The Saudis reportedly hit several undisclosed targets in Iran at the end of March in retaliation for sustained Iranian missile and drone attacks against Saudi Arabia.

The United Arab Emirates also reportedly struck Iranian targets recently in response to Iranian aggression.
