Again rocket and drone attacks from Lebanon on northern Israel.

Lebanon wants a ceasefire, but it can't control the forces operating from its territory.

IDF Spokesman:

Maher Qassem Hamdan, the Commander of the Lebanese Resistance Brigades terrorist organization in the Chebaa area in southern Lebanon, was eliminated in an IDF strike.

Hamdan was responsible for terrorist recruitment, weapons supply, and funding the Lebanese Resistance Brigades in Chebaa.

Eight additional terrorists who were fleeing the Chebaa area to the Sidon area were eliminated.

The IDF Chief of Staff in Southern Lebanon:

"The IDF is at war. We continue to fight the terrorist organization Hezbollah with great intensity. We entered a ceasefire in Iran yesterday - we are prepared to return to intense combat if required."

"Our main battlefield is here in Lebanon. We continue to deepen the maneuver and continue to strike Hezbollah.

"The IDF's achievements in the war against Iran are unprecedented and historic. The Iran before this war is not the same Iran; it is much weaker.

“We have damaged every link in Iran's value chain. The blow Iran suffered is a blow that affects Hezbollah. Hezbollah is isolated within Lebanon and isolated from its strategic artery in Iran. The Lebanese government understands more than ever the magnitude of the problem of a radical, fanatical terrorist organization existing on its soil."

Netanyahu on opening negotiations with Beirut:

"There is no ceasefire in Lebanon. We continue to strike Hezbollah with full force, and we will not stop until we restore security.

“We have two goals in the negotiations: disarming Hezbollah and a historic, sustainable peace agreement between Israel and Lebanon.

“I have already concluded four peace agreements with Arab countries, and I intend to conclude more."

The IDF is currently carrying out a broad wave of strikes against Hezbollah missile launchers in Lebanon.

Gulf states are again under attack from drones launched by Iran-backed forces.

The Kuwaiti Army reports that in the last few minutes, drones were launched against vital infrastructure in the country and that air defense systems were activated against them.

The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia were also reportedly attacked.

Pakistan is no peacemaker

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja M. Asif is under fire after an X post in which he called Israel “evil” and a “curse for humanity.”

Asif claimed that even as Pakistan is trying to broker peace in the Middle East, Israel is committing a “genocide” in Lebanon. [Apparently, any number of dead in Israeli defensive actions now constitutes a “genocide”.]

The Pakistani minister ended his post, which has since been deleted, by cursing those who helped in the restoration of Israel:

“I hope and pray people who created this cancerous state on Palestinian land to get rid of European jews burn in hell.”

Israeli leaders fired back over the despicable remarks of Pakistan’s defense minister.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

“This is not a statement that can be tolerated from any government, especially not from one that claims to be a neutral arbiter for peace.”

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar:

“Israel views very gravely these blatant antisemitic blood libels from a government claiming to mediate peace.

“Calling the Jewish state ‘cancerous’ is effectively calling for its annihilation. Israel will defend itself against terrorists who vow its destruction.”

Israeli Ambassador to the US Yechiel Leiter:

“The Ayatollahs chanted ‘Death to Israel'—and now a so-called ‘mediator’ is echoing the same language. You are not a mediator Mr. Asif, you are the problem. Even if it is to your dismay, Israel is here to stay. That’s not for negotiation.”
