At a Jerusalem press conference on March 19, 2026, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told both Israeli and foreign journalists:

“Israel and the United States are protecting America, Israel, the entire Middle East, but I venture to say the entire world.

“Despite the fake news that has unfortunately been spread since the start of the war 20 days ago, we are winning, and Iran is being decimated.

“Iran's missile and drone arsenal is being massively degraded and will be destroyed. Hundreds of their launchers have been destroyed, their stockpiles of missiles are being hit hard, and so are the industries that produce them.

“Iran's air defenses have been rendered useless. Their navy is lying at the bottom of the sea. Their air force is nearly destroyed. Iran's command and control structure is in utter chaos. And I can tell you that there's still more work to do, and we're going to do it.”

‘Israel’s fight is our fight’

Former British military commander Col. Richard Kemp has called on Christians to stand up for the Jews as war rages in the Middle East, adding that “Israel’s fight is our fight.”

Kemp said in an interview with Christian organizations that Christian support for Israel is sorely lacking in the UK.

He also denounced the British government’s weak response to calls for help in the war against Iran. “I don’t think I’ve seen Britain behaving in such a weak way, particularly in response to our US ally,” he said.
