CLEARED FOR PUBLICATION: The oil refinery and power station in Haifa was hit. No casualties being reported, but there are power outages in the area.

Iranian state media is calling the hit on Haifa revenge for Israeli airstrikes on the South Pars gas field in Iran.

Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen:

"The damage to the electricity grid in the north is limited and not significant.

“Israel Electric Company teams are working on the ground and have already restored supply to most of the consumers who were cut off.

“The rest of the disconnected consumers are expected to receive electricity in the near future.

“In addition, the barrage towards the north did not cause any significant damage to infrastructure in Israel.”

A new video clip on the Mossad’s Persian-language social media accounts:

“The oppressive [regime] forces have occupied the mosques and turned them into weapons depots and headquarters. This shameful act contradicts Islam and every other religion.

“The desecration of holy sites is always an expression of the struggle between good and evil, between darkness and light. Let us reveal to the world the truth about the actions of the oppressive forces and their wickedness.

“Continue to send pictures and videos from wherever these forces are located.”

Iranian opposition media reports regime forces (Basij) are changing into civilian clothing for fear of being targeted by the Israeli Air Force.
