Iranian officials again claim they attacked and disabled the American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and forced it to “flee in a historic defeat.”

The USS Abraham Lincoln and its strike group remain fully operational and continue to dominate the skies over Iran.

Gen. Mohsen Razai, a senior commander in the IRGC, says Iran will control when and how the war ends, and insists on two conditions:

1) the US pay full compensation for all the damage it caused to Iran, and

2) the US withdraws fully from the Persian Gulf.

In other words, he expected America to surrender unconditionally.

Iran’s military spokesperson claims that after Iranian forces “destroyed” American military bases across the region, US forces turned to using ports and bunkers in various cities in the United Arab Emirates, and are launching attacks on Iran from those cities.

As such, the spokesman insisted Iran has a legitimate right to attack those UAE cities from which the Americans are operating.

This could be a prelude to an escalation in Iranian attacks against the UAE.

Defense Minister Israel Katz: “We are entering the final stretch against Iran.”

Israel has reported turned down direct negotiations with the Lebanese government.

After Lebanon failed to uphold its previous ceasefire commitment to disarm Hezbollah, Jerusalem has little confidence in the will and ability of Beirut.

These submunitions cause limited damage, and as long as everyone is in a bomb shelter, casualties are minimized, and in most cases nonexistent.

The visuals of these warheads separating high in the sky are more dramatic, and the separation of the submunitions makes the missile harder for Israel’s defense systems to intercept, but they cause more limited damage and far fewer casualties than traditional ballistic missile warheads.

For this reason, the number of buildings damaged and the casualty count in this war have been far lower than during the 12-Day War in June of last year.
