Iran has fired at least 10 missiles carrying cluster-munition warheads at Israel since the start of the war.

Legal experts are looking into the possibility that this constitutes a war crime since the warheads were aimed at civilian populations.

Amichai Chikli, Israel’s Minister of Diaspora Affairs, has written a letter to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney urging him to take decisive action to curb the current wave of antisemitism violence in the country after three synagogues in the Toronto area were struck by gunfire within a week.

In his first public statement since succeeding his slain father, Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei vowed vengeance against America and Israel and ordered his forces to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed to all maritime traffic.

The junior Khamenei’s words were read out on public television. He reportedly remains hospitalized after being wounded in an Israeli airstrike and has not been publicly seen since.

OVERNIGHT ROUNDUP

🔹 Heavy overnight waves of missile fire at northern Israel.

🔹 A missile hit a residential building in the Arab town of Zarzir in the central Galilee. At least 30 people were wounded, including 15 children. Nearly all of the injuries were categorized as light.

🔹 An American KC-135 refueling aircraft was lost over friendly territory. A second aircraft was apparently damaged, but landed safely. CENTCOM said rescue operations are underway.

🔹 A missile was fired at Eilat and was successfully intercepted.

President Isaac Herzog met at the President's Residence in Jerusalem with Bernie Galsim Lavarias, the widower of the late Mary Ann V. De Vera, a Filipino national who was killed in an Iranian missile attack on Tel Aviv last week.

President Herzog:

“Mary Ann was an angel. She was a hero, as she saved Mrs. Rachel Shihror during the missile attack. So many Israelis were hurt by and took to heart the loss of Mary Ann.”
