RUSE OR RIFT?

A couple days ago, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian apologized for attacking neighboring Arab states, and promised Iranian forces would no longer do so.

Hours later, the head of Iran’s parliament, Iran’s ruling council of Islamic clerics, and National Security Council chief Ali Larijani said Pezeshkian’s remarks had been a mistake, and attacks on Arab neighbors resumed.

So was it a ruse or a rift?

Were Pezeshkian’s remarks staged for the world audience❓

They did manage to elicit a response from US President Donald Trump, who stated that Iran had partially “surrendered.”

Or are we seeing the first real cracks in the Iranian power structure❓

Ali Khamenei held the whole house of cards together, but with him gone the various components of the Islamic Republic are now at odds with one another under relentless US-Israeli airstrikes.

Agence France-Presse reports that three Indonesian sailors are missing after Iranian forces sunk a ship belonging to the United Arab Emirates in the Strait of Hormuz.

Two Israeli soldiers were killed in Southern Lebanon today.

One was named as Sgt. 1st Class Maher Khatar from the Druze village of Majdal Shams on the Golan Heights.

Khatar and the second soldier, who has not yet been named, were members of a combat engineering unit.

May their memory be a blessing.

Israeli forces have eliminated Abu al-Qassem Baba’iyan, the newly-appointed military secretary to Iran’s supreme leader.

Baba’iyan was appointed just days ago following the assassination of his predecessor in the opening strike of Operation Roaring Lion.

Defense Minister Israel Katz reportedly responded to news of Baba’iyan’s death with, “Keep hunting them all.”

Baba’iyan hadn’t yet been able to fulfill this role, as Iran is currently without a supreme leader. Ali Khamenei was also killed in the opening strike of Operation Roaring Lion.

US Central Command urges Iranian civilians to remain indoors, as the regime is cynically putting them in harm's way by launching missiles and drones from civilian areas.

The IDF has begun another broad wave of strikes on Iranian terror regime targets in Tehran and other areas in Iran.
