Meanwhile in Tehran this afternoon…

A US submarine reportedly torpedoed and sunk the Iranian warship IRIS Dena off the coast of Sri Lanka. According to initial reports, at least 80 are dead and dozens are still missing.

Israel has given an ultimatum for Iran to evacuate its diplomatic staff from its embassy in Beirut, which the IDF apparently intends to destroy.

Iran warned that if Israel attacked the embassy in Beirut, the Islamic Republic will attack Israeli embassies around the world.

During the tenth wave of the Israeli Air Force strikes, IDF fighter jets targeted infrastructure at the 'Mehrabad' Airport in Tehran.

As part of the strike, defense and detection systems that were used by the Iranian terror regime and posed a threat to Israeli Air Force aircraft were dismantled.

The IDF continues to degrade all infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime throughout Iran.

REPORT: Israel has killed Rahman Makdem, head of the IRGC's Special Operations Division.

Makdem was behind the Iranian attempt to assassinate US President Donald Trump. Israel informed him directly of the successful elimination of Makdem.

Today, Israeli forces carried out a broad attack on an Iranian military compound containing multiple command centers and Internal Security personnel in eastern Tehran

The compound contained headquarters of all of the Iranian security organizations.

Command centers hit during the attack included:

* IRGC headquarters
* Intelligence Directorate headquarters
* ‘Basij’ headquarters
* 'Quds Force' headquarters
* Internal Security forces headquarters
* Cyber Warfare headquarters
* Headquarters of the unit in Internal Security responsible for suppressing protests

The IDF continues to further degrade the Iranian terror regime in Tehran.

Numerous IDF brigades are taking up forward defensive positions inside southern Lebanon in what appears to be preparation for a major ground offensive.

An Israeli F-35 destroyed an Iranian ballistic missile as it was preparing to launch earlier today.

More than 100 Israeli pilots took part today in the assault on the Iranian military and internal security headquarters in eastern Tehran.

Among them was the commander of the Ramat David airbase, who later stated with pride:

“Seconds before I dropped the bombs, I looked to my right and to my left, and saw at my side dozens of our fighter jets, flying unencumbered [in the skies over Tehran], dropping hundreds of tons of precision munitions, and destroying their targets.”

Israel achieved air superiority over western Iran and the capital of Tehran in less than 48 hours from the start of Operation Roaring Lion.50

American forces are using a new offensive weapon known as Precision Strike Missiles (PrSMs) in the campaign against the Iranian regime, adding another layer of power projection to Operation Epic Fury.

US forces have also been busy hunting and destroying Iranian ballistic missiles.

It's no coincidence that Iran's rate of missile fire has been far less in this war than it was in the "12-Day War" last June.

The Iranian regime is facing the combing aerial might of the US and Israel, and is having a more difficult time retaliating under such relentless fire.

Both US and Israeli officials announced that in the coming hours full air superiority will be achieved over all of Iran and strikes against the Iranian military will intensify.

Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem accuses Israel of starting the war with Lebanon and says his group will “fight no matter the cost.”

Lebanon has told Hezbollah to stand down.
