Early this morning, Israel struck Internal Security and Basij command centers in Tehran.

Iranian missile damages Israeli FM’s daughter’s apartment

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar revealed in an interview with Australian journalist Erin Molan that his daughter’s apartment was badly damaged in an Iranian missile barrage on Tel Aviv over the weekend.

Sa’ar’s daughter was unhurt.

“She acted bravely, helping a wounded person at the scene. I’m quite proud of how she handled those terrible circumstances.”

Israel recognizes slain Filipino woman as “Israeli” victim of terror

One of the first fatalities in Israel during Operation Roaring Lion was Philippines national Mary Anne Velasquez de Vera, who was in Israel working as a caregiver.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar expressed the nation’s deepest condolences:

“Mary Ann will be recognized by the State of Israel as a terror victim, just like an Israeli citizen.”

Mary Anne’s husband, who is also a foreign worker in Israel, identified her remains.

Her patient was wounded in the missile barrage, but survived under the rubble.

Israel touts elimination of Khamenei in Times Square billboard

Israel’s official X account shared a clip of a new electronic billboard in New York City’s Times Square marking the demise of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as a “first step for a better world.”

US hails Israel as a “capable partner”

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that contrary to many of America’s other “allies,” Israel is a “capable partner” when it comes to fighting shared threats.

“Capable partners, as we’ve said since the beginning, capable partners are good partners. Unlike so many of our traditional allies, who wring their hands and clutch their pearls, hemming and hawing about the use of force.”

Hegseth noted that for decades the Iranian regime chanted “Death to America” and “Death to Israel,” so it should come as no surprise that America and Israel are finally taking action.

And the fact that no other allies are helping them in this is very telling.

HISTORIC FIRST: Israeli F-35 downs Iranian jet over Tehran

A short time ago, an Israel Air Force F-35I shot down a Russian-made Iranian Air Force YAK-130 in combat in the skies over Tehran.

This is the first recorded downing of an enemy aircraft by an F-35.

Iran’s next leader will be eliminated, too

Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that anyone the Iranian regime names to succeed Ali Khamenei will meet the same fate.

“Any leader appointed by the Iranian terror regime to continue the plan for Israel’s destruction, to threaten the US and the free world and the countries of the region, and to oppress the Iranian nation, will be an unequivocal target for elimination.”

Katz said he had already ordered the IDF to target Khamenei’s successor when he is named.

The IDF has ordered the full evacuation of southern Lebanon up to the Litani River.

Another “girls’ school” headline. Another instant verdict. Another anti-Israel outrage cycle—built on Iranian state media.

A reported strike in Minab is being blamed on an “Israeli-American attack” before the facts are even knowable. Yet Israel’s spokesperson says no known operation occurred there and urges investigation first. Meanwhile, Iran—ranked near the bottom of global press freedom—controls the narrative, throttles the internet, and floods the feed with emotional imagery that can’t be independently verified.

This is the modern media trap: dictatorships publish propaganda in minutes; democracies verify in hours; the lie wins the first news cycle. And by the time the truth catches up, the correction is invisible.

If journalism can’t tell the difference between a police state’s press office and a rule-of-law investigation, it’s not reporting—it’s laundering propaganda.
