❗️The Lebanese government issued a statement outlawing all Hezbollah “military activity” and ordered the Lebanese Armed Forces to prevent armed groups from perpetrating attacks outside Lebanon’s borders.

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam:

“We declare a ban on Hezbollah’s military activity and restrict its activity to the political sphere.

“We declare Hezbollah’s military and security activity illegal.”

It’s a good first step. Will they back it up?

He also indirectly called out previous presidents who spoke tough about stopping Iran, but then didn’t do much about it out of fear for their polling number.
