Ali Larijani, probably the most senior official remaining in Iran at the moment, says Israel and the US crossed all red lines, and will soon pay the price.

“The US and Israel burned the heart of the Iranian people. We will now burn your heart.”

Israel received from the US a cargo ship over the weekend carrying tons of military equipment, including military gear, dozens of Humvees and trucks.

The shipment arrived before the start of “Operation Roaring Lion” on Saturday morning, in which Israeli and American forces launched a preemptive attack against the regime of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Since the Hamas-led invasion into Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, 1,150 cargo aircraft and 166 ships have arrived in Israel carrying over 130,000 tons of munitions and military equipment, of which over 6,500 tons were delivered in 90 flights and shipments in recent weeks, Israel’s Ministry of Defense reported.

The IDF dropped over 1,200 bombs on Iran during the first day of Operation Roaring Lion.

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth:

“The Iranian regime had their chance, yet refused to make a deal—and now they are suffering the consequences.”

US Central Command added:

“The Iranian regime was warned. CENTCOM is now delivering swift and decisive action as directed.”

Iranian sources say that Ali Khamenei’s son and expected successor, Mojtaba Khamenei, was also killed in yesterday’s Israeli-US airstrikes on Tehran.

The United Arab Emirates warns that it will not sit idly by while Iran continues to attack its cities.

Iranian state media confirms that Israeli-US airstrikes killed the Islamic Republic’s:

• Minister of Defense
• Military Chief of Staff
• Commander of the IRGC
• Special military advisor to the Supreme Leader

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon in an address to the Security Council:

“We are stopping extremism before it becomes unstoppable. We will ensure that no radical regime armed with nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles can threaten our people or the entire world.”

In a social media post following the emergency session, Danon wrote:

“To the soldiers of the IDF, our boys and girls, my daughter, my son, you stand like lions defending our people. We salute you.

“An entire nation stands behind you.”
