AI “hallucinations” helped ban Israelis — UK Parliament calls it out
West Midlands Police barred Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from a Birmingham Europa League match. Now a Home Affairs Committee report says the “threat assessment” leaned on false AI-generated claims, accepted evidence that fit a pre-set narrative, and ignored contradictory facts.
Worse: police failed to properly engage Birmingham’s Jewish community, while consulting others—fueling a trust crisis that went far beyond football.
In today’s hostile online atmosphere, when institutions outsource policy to AI, Israelis and Jews pay the price.

Hamas will disarm, soon, or the IDF will move back in
Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich says Hamas will be given an ultimatum to disarm "in the coming days," and if it refuses, Israel will receive international legitimacy and US backing to act on its own.
Smotrich was clear: The war is not over.
Israel is giving Trump a chance to do things his way, but the general feeling is that the IDF will need to return to combat to finish the job.
Smotrich told Israeli radio:

Israel warns citizens to shelter in parts of Mexico
Israel’s embassy in Mexico City has urged Israelis in several Mexican states to stay in their homes or hotels “until further notice” due to ongoing violence and transport disruptions.
The embassy advised Israelis to avoid nonessential travel, steer clear of areas with police or security activity, follow local media and authorities’ instructions, stay away from crowds and dial 911 in emergencies.

Gaza “Riviera” talk isn’t the story. Disarmament is.
Inside Trump’s Board of Peace for Gaza's rehabilitation, the pitch is massive: rebuild Rafah first, modern infrastructure, trade corridors, even a coastline economy.
But the Israelis in the room are blunt: no money, no rebuilding—until Hamas is fully disarmed. Not “eventually.” First.
They’re also pushing something past plans ignored: textbook reform—ending incitement as a non-negotiable part of any future.
Billions are being pledged. Timelines are being drawn. An international stabilization force is being discussed.
Now it comes down to one binary question: Will Hamas surrender weapons—or force the next phase?

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid:
"There is a good chance we are on the brink of a military campaign in Iran. If this campaign comes - and it must come - we will all put everything else aside.
“All disagreements will be put on hold until the danger passes. As in the past, I will enlist in Israeli advocacy and strengthening Israel's international standing.
“As in the previous war, I will go wherever needed, from CNN to the British Parliament, and tell them: you know I am the opposition leader, you know Netanyahu and I are rivals, but Iran must be attacked with full force, the Ayatollah regime must be overthrown."

Israel accelerating preparations for multi-front war
Alongside tighter coordination with the United States, the IDF is finalizing operational plans on multiple levels. Israel’s Home Front Command and local authorities are updating emergency frameworks—specifically for a scenario where Israel is forced to fight simultaneously across several arenas.
On the northern front, Israel is intensifying activity vis-à-vis Lebanon, aiming to narrow Hezbollah’s operational freedom and make its entry into any broader military confrontation more difficult.
Officials stress, however, that no final decision has been made on the timing of an operation. Any launch window will depend heavily on the next moves from Washington.

IRAN, DON’T. ISRAEL WILL HIT BACK HARDER THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE.
From the Knesset, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stark warning to Tehran: an attack on Israel would be “the greatest mistake in its history”—and Israel’s response would be unimaginably powerful.
He also underscored two strategic signals: Israel is ready for any scenario, and coordination with the United States has “never been closer.”

Temple Mount groups call on Netanyahu to reinstate Jewish afternoon prayers during Ramadan
Israeli rights groups have urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reverse the cancellation of daily afternoon prayers at the Temple Mount during Ramadan, which began last week.
The groups criticized annual restrictions on Jews visiting Judaism’s holiest site during Ramadan as a “rollback of Israeli sovereignty” at the site and a violation of freedom of worship.
Police did extend Jewish (and Christian) morning visiting hours, but maintained the ban on non-Muslims visit the Temple Mount during the afternoon for the duration of Ramadan.

Hugh Laurie insists he is NOT a “Zionist”
British actor Hugh Laurie posted a simple eulogy for his friend and “Tehran” producer Dana Eden—and was immediately attacked online for honoring an Israeli. His response was to distance himself from Zionism:
That attempt to defuse the mob didn’t calm the moment. It widened it—prompting sharp pushback from Jewish voices who argue that treating “Zionist” as a moral stain is itself the problem.
