Dozens of envoys to the United Nations are in Israel as part of a fact-finding mission organized by Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon.

The group is visiting Jerusalem and the southern border with the Gaza Strip.

Danon said after taking the envoys to the Gaza Envelope region:

“They exposed to the horrors of the October 7 [attacks] and the stories of heroism of our people.

“Whoever hears these testimonies and looks the victims’ families in the eyes cannot return to the diplomatic comfort zone.”

Danon said that bringing UN officials to Israel to see the reality is worth “a thousand discussions” in the Security Council.

Hamas will disarm, soon, or the IDF will move back in

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich says Hamas will be given an ultimatum to disarm "in the coming days," and if it refuses, Israel will receive international legitimacy and US backing to act on its own.

Smotrich was clear: The war is not over.

Israel is giving Trump a chance to do things his way, but the general feeling is that the IDF will need to return to combat to finish the job.

Smotrich told Israeli radio:

“In the end, the IDF will conquer the Gaza Strip and establish Jewish settlement there."

Israel warns citizens to shelter in parts of Mexico

Israel’s embassy in Mexico City has urged Israelis in several Mexican states to stay in their homes or hotels “until further notice” due to ongoing violence and transport disruptions.

The embassy advised Israelis to avoid nonessential travel, steer clear of areas with police or security activity, follow local media and authorities’ instructions, stay away from crowds and dial 911 in emergencies.

Temple Mount groups call on Netanyahu to reinstate Jewish afternoon prayers during Ramadan

Israeli rights groups have urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to reverse the cancellation of daily afternoon prayers at the Temple Mount during Ramadan, which began last week.

The groups criticized annual restrictions on Jews visiting Judaism’s holiest site during Ramadan as a “rollback of Israeli sovereignty” at the site and a violation of freedom of worship.

Police did extend Jewish (and Christian) morning visiting hours, but maintained the ban on non-Muslims visit the Temple Mount during the afternoon for the duration of Ramadan.

Hugh Laurie insists he is NOT a “Zionist”

British actor Hugh Laurie posted a simple eulogy for his friend and “Tehran” producer Dana Eden—and was immediately attacked online for honoring an Israeli. His response was to distance himself from Zionism:
