Uganda to honor Yoni Netanyahu

Uganda is set to unveil a statue of Yonatan Netanyahu, the older brother of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who was killed during the daring 1976 operation to free Israeli hostages held by German and Palestinian terrorists at Entebbe Airport.

Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, head of Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF), wrote:

“In order to strengthen our close blood relations with Israel, we shall soon unveil a statue to Yoni Netanyahu at the exact spot he was killed at Entebbe Airport.

“Yoni was the big brother of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. God bless Uganda and Israel.”

Israel will not fund Gaza reconstruction

Israel will not contribute to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip through US President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace, said Ze’ev Elkin, who serves as a second minister in the Finance Ministry.

Elkin told Israeli radio:

“We will not fund the Board of Peace; there is no reason to. We were attacked. There is no reason for us to pay for the reconstruction.”

Iran’s embassy in Lebanon posted images of a massive banner draped over its fence—quoting Koran 26:62:

“No! Allah is with me; He will guide me.”

In the Koranic telling, that line belongs to Moses at the most dramatic moment of the Exodus: Israel trapped between the sea and Pharaoh’s army—fear rising.

But on today’s banner, Moses and the Children of Israel are replaced with Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

Everyone wants to borrow the miracles God did for Israel–but many of the same voices also work to erase the very people whose story they’re exploiting.

Narrative warfare steals the Bible’s moral capital while trying to delete its original witnesses.

Modi is scheduled to arrive in Israel on Wednesday.

Freed hostage releases first single

Former Hamas hostage Daniella Gilboa has released her debut single, “Where Everything Ends,” about a year after returning from captivity in Gaza.

She said the song reflects her journey from “the darkest place” to hope and homecoming as she rebuilds her life and pursues a music career.

Gilboa was abducted on Oct. 7, 2023 along with fellow soldiers and held for 477 days. She was 19 when she was kidnapped, one of seven female troops abducted during the Hamas-led attack on the northwestern Negev.

Dozens of envoys to the United Nations are in Israel as part of a fact-finding mission organized by Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon.

The group is visiting Jerusalem and the southern border with the Gaza Strip.

Danon said after taking the envoys to the Gaza Envelope region:

“They exposed to the horrors of the October 7 [attacks] and the stories of heroism of our people.

“Whoever hears these testimonies and looks the victims’ families in the eyes cannot return to the diplomatic comfort zone.”

Danon said that bringing UN officials to Israel to see the reality is worth “a thousand discussions” in the Security Council.

AI “hallucinations” helped ban Israelis — UK Parliament calls it out

West Midlands Police barred Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from a Birmingham Europa League match. Now a Home Affairs Committee report says the “threat assessment” leaned on false AI-generated claims, accepted evidence that fit a pre-set narrative, and ignored contradictory facts.

Worse: police failed to properly engage Birmingham’s Jewish community, while consulting others—fueling a trust crisis that went far beyond football.

In today’s hostile online atmosphere, when institutions outsource policy to AI, Israelis and Jews pay the price.

Hamas will disarm, soon, or the IDF will move back in

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich says Hamas will be given an ultimatum to disarm "in the coming days," and if it refuses, Israel will receive international legitimacy and US backing to act on its own.

Smotrich was clear: The war is not over.

Israel is giving Trump a chance to do things his way, but the general feeling is that the IDF will need to return to combat to finish the job.

Smotrich told Israeli radio:

“In the end, the IDF will conquer the Gaza Strip and establish Jewish settlement there."

Israel warns citizens to shelter in parts of Mexico

Israel’s embassy in Mexico City has urged Israelis in several Mexican states to stay in their homes or hotels “until further notice” due to ongoing violence and transport disruptions.

The embassy advised Israelis to avoid nonessential travel, steer clear of areas with police or security activity, follow local media and authorities’ instructions, stay away from crowds and dial 911 in emergencies.

Gaza “Riviera” talk isn’t the story. Disarmament is.

Inside Trump’s Board of Peace for Gaza's rehabilitation, the pitch is massive: rebuild Rafah first, modern infrastructure, trade corridors, even a coastline economy.

But the Israelis in the room are blunt: no money, no rebuilding—until Hamas is fully disarmed. Not “eventually.” First.

They’re also pushing something past plans ignored: textbook reform—ending incitement as a non-negotiable part of any future.

Billions are being pledged. Timelines are being drawn. An international stabilization force is being discussed.

Now it comes down to one binary question: Will Hamas surrender weapons—or force the next phase?

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid:

"There is a good chance we are on the brink of a military campaign in Iran. If this campaign comes - and it must come - we will all put everything else aside.

“All disagreements will be put on hold until the danger passes. As in the past, I will enlist in Israeli advocacy and strengthening Israel's international standing.

“As in the previous war, I will go wherever needed, from CNN to the British Parliament, and tell them: you know I am the opposition leader, you know Netanyahu and I are rivals, but Iran must be attacked with full force, the Ayatollah regime must be overthrown."

Israel accelerating preparations for multi-front war

Alongside tighter coordination with the United States, the IDF is finalizing operational plans on multiple levels. Israel’s Home Front Command and local authorities are updating emergency frameworks—specifically for a scenario where Israel is forced to fight simultaneously across several arenas.

On the northern front, Israel is intensifying activity vis-à-vis Lebanon, aiming to narrow Hezbollah’s operational freedom and make its entry into any broader military confrontation more difficult.

Officials stress, however, that no final decision has been made on the timing of an operation. Any launch window will depend heavily on the next moves from Washington.
