Overnight Wednesday (Feb. 19, 2026), the IDF carried out strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure sites across southern Lebanon, targeting weapons storage facilities, missile launchers, and military installations the military says were being used to plan attacks on Israel.

According to the IDF, the locations struck violated the existing understandings between Israel and Lebanon, and the military said it will continue operating against threats.

US President Donald Trump yesterday chaired the inaugural gathering of his "Board of Peace" for the rehabilitation of Gaza.

During the event, Trump reiterated his belief, contrary to the statements of Hamas leaders, that the terror group will voluntarily disarm and relinquish control of Gaza.

"Hamas has been, I think, they’re going to give up their weapons, which is what they promised. If they don’t, it’ll be, you know, they’ll be harshly met, very harshly met."

A 50,000-man strong Palestinian police force is expected to deploy to the Gaza Strip within 60 days.

That according to Ali Shaath, chief commissioner of the US-backed National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), in his address to the Board of Peace.

The idea doesn't exactly fill Israelis with a sense of confidence.

Shaath insisted this police force would be created "under one authority, one law, and one weapon."

That is the exact wording used in the failed "Oslo Accords," which turned out to be a lie.

Iran will face "unimaginable" consequences if it attacks Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned.

Speaking at an IDF officers training school graduation ceremony, Netanyahu stated:

"We are prepared for any scenario. And if the ayatollahs make the mistake of attacking us, they will experience a response they cannot even imagine."

Israel strikes Hezbollah terror assets in Lebanon

The Israeli Air Force carried out strikes in eastern Baalbek in Lebanon on Friday, killing at least seven terrorists from Hezbollah’s missile unit at three separate command centers.

The targeted terrorists were identified as working to accelerate the group’s operational readiness and weapons buildup while planning rocket fire and other attacks against Israel.

Their activities violated ceasefire understandings with Lebanon, the IDF said, stressing that Israeli forces remain committed to the truce.

A British jury has convicted Fiona Monro of stealing a poster of slain Israeli hostage Tsachi Idan.

The poster was placed in her hometown of Brighton by a relative of Idan who lives nearby.

Monro had been charged in the past with vandalism for scrawling pro-Palestinian slogans on public property, and she confessed to ripping down the poster of Idan and tossing it in the bin, arguing that there was no license to place it in a public space.

Monro was ordered to pay the prosecution expenses bill and received an 18-month suspended sentence.

Oct. 7-linked RPG rocket washes ashore in Israel’s south

A rocket-propelled grenade launcher rocket, possibly used by Hamas terrorists during the Gazan invasion on Oct. 7, 2023, was discovered on Friday at Zikim Beach, Israel’s southernmost Mediterranean beach that abuts the northern Strip.

Israel Defense Forces and Israel Police officers were dispatched to the scene.

The army is investigating whether the rocket had in fact belonged to the terrorist group.
