Six British activists affiliated with the anti-Israel Palestine Action group will face a retrial on charges stemming from a 2024 break-in at an Elbit Systems facility near Bristol, England.

US President Donald Trump yesterday chaired the inaugural gathering of his "Board of Peace" for the rehabilitation of Gaza.

During the event, Trump reiterated his belief, contrary to the statements of Hamas leaders, that the terror group will voluntarily disarm and relinquish control of Gaza.

"Hamas has been, I think, they’re going to give up their weapons, which is what they promised. If they don’t, it’ll be, you know, they’ll be harshly met, very harshly met."

A 50,000-man strong Palestinian police force is expected to deploy to the Gaza Strip within 60 days.

That according to Ali Shaath, chief commissioner of the US-backed National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG), in his address to the Board of Peace.

The idea doesn't exactly fill Israelis with a sense of confidence.

Shaath insisted this police force would be created "under one authority, one law, and one weapon."

That is the exact wording used in the failed "Oslo Accords," which turned out to be a lie.
